I'm a new online savings customer with my first transfer payment in today (Rainy Day Acct). What a good impression Katie (Online Savings) made on me of her Belfast Bldg Scty. I didn't expect making... See more

Tried to register for new savings…
Tried to register for new savings account. 4 times and error came up. I even had someone talking me through and it still had an error. I was told someone will call back but to be honest if it's going to be a problem like this I won't bother.
Worst Registration
Worst Registration
Tried to sign up for a one year bond, can't get past their second page.you never receive the 6 digit email verification code email. I've tried twice.
First time I tried a couple of weeks back I managed to get to verification, only to be told that the passport image I loaded up hadn't come through. So they sent a lik to some website that I signed up for to upload again.
Managed to register on that and they the site won't load up to get any further. All in all rubbish, I hate online verification, they obviously don't want investment very badly.
So they just lost out on a whole junk of investment, I emailed them and called, waste of time. I can't be bothered with this. Stick to Issa.
Incompetent Online Login Process
Incompetent Online Login Process
Just tried to login to the new "digital" Progressive only to find I can't!
I do have an account but now you need SalesForce authenticator to login.
However, there is nothing from Progressive to allow a link to be added to SalesForce authenticator - so you can't login because SalesForce authenticator has to authentic you but it can't authenticate you because it is not linked to Progressive and the loop continues!
There is a "choose an alternative verification method" option but it loops straight back to SalesForce authenticator and so the farce continues.
I have seen some rubbish IT systems in my time but this one takes the crown. There must have been NO testing by the developer. Utterly incompetent!
In short, if The Progressive wants to use Salesforce Authenticator then how about providing the QR code to allow a Progressive account in the authenticator?
If The Progressive is going to offer an option to use an alternative authentication method, how about actually providing one?
Completely below standards and a pathetic attempt of a digital presence!
Automatic rolling cover of bonds
The building society rolled over my children’s bonds without my permission for a 5 year period at a very poor interest rate. It is refusing to give me the money back.

Spoke to a mortgage advisor in the Belfast branch as I saw they offered really good mortgage deals on a comparison site. I already have a mortgage advisor who has provided me with some great deals but saw the progressive had lower monthly payments so decided to see if I was eligible. As I went through all the financials I was told I wouldn't be eligible for a mortgage with them and proceeded to make a condescending remark that I would not be able to borrow the amount needed.

I have recently had a self build mortgage with Progressive - the Ballymena branch - especially Lorna have been so helpful and made the process extremely easy
