Disappointing Communication and Ongoing Payment Demands
I enrolled onto a course and paid a deposit. Unfortunately, despite extensive efforts contacting local primary schools, I was unable to secure the volunteer placement required to continue.
I repeatedly contacted the college to explain that although I had briefly reviewed the online materials, I had not meaningfully started the course due to being unable to obtain the required placement. My emails went unanswered, however I continued receiving payment demands and invoices rather than communication towards a resolution.
I would now like my complaint to be properly addressed and resolved, including an end to further payment requests in relation to a course I was unable to proceed with

I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced in securing a placement. As outlined at enrolment, placements are the responsibility of the learner, and the college is not able to source or guarantee these. Access to the online learning materials was provided from the point of registration, and under the terms of your agreement, payments fall due on the scheduled dates regardless of course progression.
If you wish to raise a formal complaint, this will need to be submitted in writing to the College Director so it can be reviewed through the correct process. Please note that payment requests cannot be paused or cancelled while a complaint is being investigated, as the fees remain contractually due.
Once your letter is received, the Director will respond in line with our complaints policy.

It was a very simple and…
It was a very simple and straightforward process for me doing the CACHE level 3 support in teaching and learning course as the website was simple with video guides guiding me throughout and the content was to the point followed by assessments on each section however my only slight inconvenience was the lengthy marking waiting period of a few weeks as I wanted to complete this course quicker but the marking and processing took time but other than that, great experience. My assessor was Sharon Remington-Ogle and she was great in marking and very thorough so thank you!

However, we do need to clarify that all submitted work is processed through Turnitin, and the college is required to follow the results it provides. Where AI indicators are repeatedly flagged, we must investigate in line with awarding‑body expectations to maintain the integrity of the qualification.
We recognise that you have stated your work is based on personal experience, and this will be taken into account as part of the review. Your assessor and the quality team will continue to work with you to resolve the matter fairly.
Regarding the reassessment fee, this is only applied where a unit must be formally re‑marked due to non‑compliance with submission requirements. No decision is made lightly, and you will be informed of the outcome once the review is complete.
If you wish to raise a formal complaint, you are welcome to submit this in writing to the College Director, and it will be handled through our official complaints procedure.

I personally found my tutor Sharon to be very helpful and polite. Nothing seemed to be a bother (even my silly questions). The units themselves were easy to navigate and insightful but I did find uploading work a bit confusing. I would definitely recommend completing a course with the learning college

The online support is very helpful. I had to take a break due to ill health and they happily oaused the course so I could concentrate on getting better. It was tricky taking a pause but had the right team around me to help me achieve my training.

I was happy with the amount of helpful…
I was happy with the amount of helpful information that was available on the course and was glad to have more than one tutor available to mark my work and give me feedback. I was never pressured to hurry up to meet deadlines, just simply a reminder close to deadline time with the option of paying for an extension. I completed my course and am happy with the experience.

Flexible for those who value independent learning.
I found the TQUK Teaching Assistant course to be a good fit for my needs, particularly because it allowed me to work at my own pace without the pressure of strict assignment deadlines. The flexibility made it much easier to balance my studies with other commitments.
The notes provided for each unit were helpful as a starting point, although I did feel they could have been more detailed. As a result, I chose to supplement my learning by purchasing additional books to better understand some of the topics, as I personally find online information harder to navigate.
One of the highlights of the course was the tutor support. My tutor was very supportive and always responded promptly whenever I reached out for help or clarification.
Overall, despite needing to seek some additional resources, I would recommend this course to others, especially those who value flexibility and independent learning.

Honestly was a bit unsure on how…
Honestly was a bit unsure on how reliable doing an online qualification would be but it was so straightforward.
You pick your own assessor, all the information is provided aswell as the assessment questions needed to be filled out.
Everything was always marked quickly and if corrections where needed it was straightforward I've had no issues and have now completed my qualification, I would genuinely reccommed, especially since you can complete the work in your own time.
