A Medical Private GP out from the Covid Darkness
The Covid pandemic threw up many difficulties and challenges for people creating a type of 'stay-in-your-bubble' approach to medical health. Thus, if your preference was for the good old-fashioned face-to-face type of health connection you were then put on a Sherlock 'the game is afoot' mission where empathy, reliability, aptitude and warmth were high on your search list. Sherlock's Dr Watson arrived in the form of Dr Jack Ogden.
When you have an ageing partner you like to know they are in good, caring hands especially when they require more than just a very brief time period discussing health history and an accumulation of various complaints that have knocked you for six spanning more than an eighty-year period. And where you can have the choice of either the 'show and tell' type of medical familiarity rather than the current popularised telephone method or remote and pretty detached video connection. Convenient for people who are in a hurry I suppose but often we all really do need that (in the same room) conventional peace of mind method.
The relaxed nature of Dr Ogden and the aura of his clinic were well worth the travelling effort it took to get to see him. To find a total gentlemanly doctor willing to go that extra mile and with a complete appreciation and understanding of the many quirks that go along with ageing years, it was like being in the heart of the Sahara and striking gold.
Dr Ogden was a fountain of knowledge, highly skilled and effective and a total breath of fresh air. I could not sprinkle praise more supremely in the direction of this remarkable chap.
At no point did he rush the appointment, it simply found its natural completion point. Therefore, to round this review up; when in need of such an individual, do not walk in the direction of his clinic, but run towards this inspiration of hope. Thank you immensely.
