Happy I responded

The Hacking Trust had written to us expressing their interest in our commercial building for over twenty years, which had been held within our family company for over sixty years! Although we did not respond for a long time, we are pleased that we eventually chose to engage with them. Once a sale was agreed, the transaction moved forward swiftly and was completed far more quickly than we expected. Thanks you kindly

Just very good all round. Glad I responded

After more than 40 years of owning a company that held a portfolio of 20 residential flats across London and Surrey, I recently decided it was time to sell. I was delighted to complete the sale of the entire portfolio in one transaction to The Hacking Trust, and I couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience.

From the outset, the directors at The Hacking Trust were an absolute pleasure to deal with — professional, straightforward, and highly efficient. They quickly grasped the structure of my company and managed the acquisition with impressive precision and speed. Mark has exceptional knowledge on getting deals over the line, even when being made complicated by professionals.

Equally, their solicitors and accountants were exceptionally competent and proactive, dealing swiftly and efficiently with any potentially daunting legal or financial matters that arose during the process. What could have been a complex and time-consuming transaction was handled with great clarity and care throughout.

After four decades of ownership, it was remarkable to see how seamless the entire sale turned out to be. I have no hesitation in recommending The Hacking Trust and their team to anyone considering selling property or company-held assets. They made what could have been a challenging process both easy and highly rewarding

Well Worth Considering

For many years I received unsolicited mailshots from Hacking but I ignored them. After another letter earlier this year I did respond and after about 3 months of negotiations etc we have just completed the trasaction to sell my company to Hacking.
Chelseas was very helpful whenever we hit complications in the negotiations.

The cheapest, quickest and most no hassle way to sell a plot of land

I had a ‘cold call’ letter showing an interest in a plot of land owned by 5 different family members. In the past I have filed these letters without response, but this time it seemed opportune to pursue the idea as we were an aged group and the land was many miles from any of our homes, and we felt we could capitalise on a sale.
We were all very sceptical and thought it was probably a scam, but could see no risk to either our ownership or banking integrity by following it up.
The result was way way above all our expectations and the communication was clear, concise and rapid. All emails were responded to the same day, and the acting lawyer was exemplary in his replies keeping us all in the picture about exactly what was required at every stage.
The deal was finally concluded within 4 weeks of starting discussions - it could have been within 2 weeks, but the difficulty of getting all 5 of us in the same place at the same time was complex.
Max (from the Hacking Trust) and Sam (the lawyer) drove down to our house in East Anglia and conducted an in person exchange and completion, and the money changed hands there and then.
It was an extraordinarily efficient performance, and so totally alien to all the experiences I have had over many years with local lawyers who take forever to respond, and even longer to conclude a deal.
In conclusion, despite our initial scepticism as to the integrity of the company, we couldn’t have been more surprised and delighted. It was way above our expectations (and with the in house exchange and completion there were no costs to us as sellers.)

unsolicited scam mailshots

They have been sending me letter mailshots for years based on trawling companies house records to identify
their prey. Clearly a scam and i want nothing do with them. Only fit for the bin.

Fast smooth sale

As I'm approaching retirement, I made the decision to sell off my company and it's land.

I dealt with Josh. I was offered a good price for the land. The sale was quick and smooth.

Overall a very positive experience.

Efficient

Sold my company which held a range of commercial and residential assets. It was a swift transaction and I am glad I responded to the letters having received them for 10+ years. Thanks for the service . best Harold

Lies about the legal entity, dodgy finances?

Unsolicited email this time (have had letters previously) thought there was something fishy so went to Companies House.

The footer in the email claims it is from "...the trading name of The Hacking Partnership Plc" and gives company Reg No of 11172033 which doesn't belong to that company but to Hacking Marketing Ltd. (Which appears to share director(s) with Hacking Partnership plc)

Co House check of Hacking Partnership Plc shows dormant company with negligible balance sheet.

Hacking Marketing Ltd (the company no given in the email) avoided compulsory strike off in October 2023, has made several accounting date changes recently, has tangible assets of around £15k and a negative balance sheet to the tune of -181k.

You might believe their claim that "Over the last ten years we have become very adept at purchasing shares in companies with a large core of property assets."

I don't.

Caveat emptor.
