I was totally overwhelmed by what to include or not include given my extra-curricular achievements, and this dithering and daunting feeling put me off looking at my CV for ages. Excellent communication and hugely helpful. Speedy turn around and proactive around asking questions to expand CV as needed. I've gone from having no responses to having two interviews scheduled this week. Balancing life with work with children with job applications is HARD. Efficient and always on hand when needed, if you need a CV and cover letter, the CV Store is who you need.

I bought a CV package from Lee in 2022. He was really nice & helpful, he responded to questions I had even after the CV writing.

However, 2 years on, I haven't successfully secured an interview with the CV he wrote, and I wasn't too impressed with it either. I've been using the one I had originally so it wasn't the best use of money and a purchase I regret so be careful.

Now I'm job-hunting again - I actually haven't changed jobs since buying a CV here because i decided to stick with my current company - but now I'm ready to go. I'm going to have to completely write a CV from scratch, or hire another company to write it.

Edit - I understand they don't guarantee interviews but when I tell them exactly what jobs I'm applying for and the CV they write has no success... but the one I wrote does... I didn't take a new job but I still secured interviews with my original CV (not the job I really want yet though, they wouldn't hire me, will need CV support elsewhere to get it). I like that their response is "to identify potential areas for improvement" when the ENTIRE CV they wrote needs to be re-written, or binned as it was. [And they did offer a re-write but it was a lot of hassle then ] I would say if you're dissatisfied, request a refund or a rewrite ASAP. Don't be dissatisfied like I was but just hope it works down the line... it won't.

From the moment I gave these a call in December 2023, to the time they delivered the final product in January, I have received nothing but a classy, professional, dedicated and quality service. Lee is one of the most professional people, I can say I have ever met in my life. He is not only flexible but got an eye for detail. He greatly helped me with my old CV, taking it from 5 pages to two professional pages and making it look really employable. His syntax and the way he structured my CV made it very appealing and engaging to the reader. They created my IT CV from scratch and used scattered crumbs to create my Healthcare CV; needless to say both results were fantastic. I now have 4 Job offers within healthcare and one job offer within IT with two interviews lined up. It is worth noting here that within both fields, I was approached 11 by employers who found my CV on LinkedIn and Indeed. I believe if my CVs weren't appealing no one would approach me. I mention it here as it's never happened to me before. I think it must be the great job done by the guys at the CV Store.

Being dyslexic means I struggle with communication, Lee took all of these into consideration and his communication all along has been top notch. Their after sale Service is nothing short of brilliant. They respond to you within the hour and they still make changes as requested to your CV with the same dedication as if you were a new customer. Personally I think I am as fussy as they come but they handled my worries with compassion, understanding, flexibility and professionalism. Lee was fast, efficient and delivered within the timescale. The overall result was a good solid CV that is quite generic ather than tailored to my industry. I have a solid base but will need to undertake further work to secure interviews. I work in the creative sector and whilst I was satisfied with CV Stores work I was hoping for a more sector nuanced CV.
