Absolutely awful

Greetham Valley Golf Club. Absolutely awful, they have completely ruined our course, everything has gone up, membership, bar prices etc! £7.30 for a pint of Guinness. There is hardly any grass on our course and the lakes are almost empty! It now looks like a badly maintained holiday park course, none of the green keepers care anymore. Drunken society male urinating outside the ladies changing rooms in front of a young girl!! Manager not interested!! Expect to lose 200+ members over the next 10 months.

Unprofessional behavior

Having booked a room on the 6th of February for business, it was unfortunate that due to my vehicle breaking down I was unable to stay, despite telephoning the hotel, staff have denied any phone calls, or emails from Booking.com To add insult to injury three times I was promised that the manager would call me back, she never did. Over a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. They changed me for the room, only to offer a measly 10% discount on my next stay. I wouldn’t stay there even if it was the last hotel left. Finally, giving them 1 star is generous. The hotel was The Essex Golf and Spa Hotel in Halstead.

Age Discrimination?

Member of The Warwickshire leisure club for around 7 years. Joined as a Senior member (12.30 to 16.30) which was subsequently closed to new members. Adult swim availability 12.30 to 15.00 at first, later reduced to 14.00. Now not available at all during the twelve weeks of school holidays. I explained to the pool manager how this would impact the health of elderly and disabled users, without succes. I then wrote to the general manager who didn't bother to reply. I have now joined a club on the edge of Coventry where I feel welcome. Adult swim sessions are plentiful, the water is comfortably warmer, and the smiling staff are always helpful.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER TAKING MONEY

I had a fantastic tour of The Warwickshire and was really pleased to be joining the club. I was told that there were a number of classes available to me, which turned out not to be the case. Once I had paid my joining fee nobody was interested at all. I was promised several phone calls back to arrange a Fitness test and didn’t receive anything. I wanted someone to talk me through booking classes and querying which classes were available, but was told that membership were only there to sign new members and if I wanted anything else, I need to go to head office. After four emails, I am still yet to have a response from either head office or The Warwickshire directly.
A real shame as the potential for excellent customer service is there, but the impression I have been given is that they are only interested in taking my money and not interested in me getting the best out of the facilities and the membership. I cancelled my membership within the cooling off period but still haven’t had the courtesy of a response to any email or had my joining fee returned or any notification.
I would think very hard before joining as their customer service doesn’t live up to their promises and the experience certainly isn’t a healthy one.

Terrible Customer Service and No Response to Multiple Emails

I am extremely disappointed with The Club Company and the lack of response to my numerous emails. I have contacted them three times over the span of several weeks regarding an issue with the rejoining fee for Chartham Park, but no one has bothered to reply.

As a frequent visitor to the UK from overseas, I was hoping for some flexibility in their membership policy, especially considering I only need a one-month membership while visiting my elderly parents. Despite explaining my situation in detail, I received no response whatsoever to my reasonable request.

The lack of communication is not only frustrating but completely unprofessional. This is especially disheartening given that the staff at the club itself have always been courteous. However, it seems the company's management does not care about addressing customer concerns or even basic email correspondence.

I expected better service from a premium club like this. Sadly, their customer service is non-existent, and I would advise others to think twice before joining if you expect any level of support from them.

NOT WORTH EVEN 1 STAR

If I could give minus one star, I would.

The review is for Chartham Park, East Grinstead. I pay top money for use of Spa Facilities once a week and it was more times out of use than in use. When I finally brought this to the attention of Management, The Duty Manager agrees with my views and apologies and offers me a very unacceptable offer of a day pass voucher for a friend. I took the time to respond to acknowledge his offer but explained this was not sufficient for acceptable for a number of reasons. The Duty Manager representing the The Club did not feel it necessary to respond. I took further time out to attend the Club and ask to speak to the Duty Manager representing the Club, one to ask why he had not responded to my email, stating his offer was not acceptable and two, to point out yet again some of the Spa Facilities were still out of operation on Bank Holiday. Even though I made my way physically to the Club Ben Cornwell was not available at the time but I was assured he would give me a call in approximately 15minutes. 5 days on I am still waiting.

I then approached Head Office with an email to update them and same unprofessional approach with no response. The only thing guaranteed with this company is they will always remember to take the payment each month. MEMBERSHIP CANCELLED, ADVICE - STAY AWAY
