Terrible owner and person. Not for female equality.

I first saw the advertisement for the camp on Facebook. I thought It would be good to join due to the reviews but NOOO. You guys might be so friendly at first. The Covid-19 happened, I told them to freeze my card (I have to move to another state), YES, they did freeze my membership. But something happened, next month I still got the notifications from the bank that I have to spend $74- for the camp. I suddenly texted them. They only replied to me one text, and I never get any reply back. I told them to refund it back cause I am now out of state, I can’t do anything besides texting them. No, they saw my text and ignored it. It’s ok!! I won’t ask for that money back, but I just want to let you know that. I will never let anyone I know join the camp, as well as giving a bad review on this. Irresponsible !!

I have been a member of The Camp Transformation Center, the one based in Burnsville, MN. This is a wonderful gym and I was able to lose 55+ LBs! The caring from the trainers, the community you gain, it is all worth it. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to make changes in their health and wellness.

So I've been reading reviews on 'The Camp Transformation Center', and I must say I'm disappointed by all the negative whining online because this is completely opposite to my own experience (and no, I'm not required to post on social media, nor am I affiliated with The Camp in any way).

Like most things in life, you get out of them what you put in. You want a workout routine where you wander around the gym (or at home) for an hour barely breaking a sweat, posting your 'workout burn' insta images in between reps, chatting online with friends talking about how hot you look in your barely worn yoga pants? Well, this place isn't for you then. If however you want to join an amazing fitness program (HIIT) in an environment where you feel welcome, surrounded by friendly and seriously committed members and challengers, instructors who know how to get the maximum out of you with workout routines that WILL make you seriously sweat, then give The Camp Transformation Center a try. I personally didn't require a 6 week challenge to be motivated to make a change to my own health and fitness. 8.5 weeks from first joining - 22 lbs gone (4" around my waist) and muscle development I never thought possible to my legs and upper body. My eating habits, overall strength and fitness, energy level and motivation to keep working hard has just improved exponentially since first joining as a member. Love this place.

If you are SERIOUSLY willing to try and make a change to your health and well being, give The Camp Transformation Center a try. You won't regret it.

Even after dedicating 9 weeks of training and busting my butt, tons of money on supplements and vitamins and “deposit”,... not one person has reached out to me from this “Camp” last I heard from anyone that represents the camp it went like this.

During the challenge I got sick. I went to the director let her know the drs believe I have IBD. SO SHE KNEW THIS!!!!!!! I cried on her shoulder people!!! Then I woke up with my left eye red and swollen. I still made it to training. During class I had to ask for a first aid kit. I showed them my eye before leaving we were all talking about how weird it was.

Next morning I message both directors.

Me: remember yesterday when my eye swole up in class? Well I went to the er after gym and theyre sending me to a specialist today. Not sure I can make weigh in, in the am.

Literally no one responded!!

Next day is weigh in. I message again. I am now blind. Can’t drive and freaking out. I let them know this and that I am headed to a specialist.

The response I get is,.... we’re here till 5. You can come in later today.

That’s it guys. That’s the last I heard from my AFF FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!

Now I have to say this. 3 weeks later I was rushed for surgery with feeding tubes. My entire journey has been public and even the “director and trainers” have “liked” some of my posts and pictures, yet have never reached out. Not about the deposit and not about giving a damn at all!!

Worst part is I love the work out program so much I had been conversing with my husband about the franchise. Spoke with the director briefly about opening one in Maui. However it’s been 2 months and not one person has checked in or gave a damn. So I’m parting way with what now appears to be nothing but greed.

SCAMMER ALERT!!! Vernadette (Bernie Hernandez) signed me up for the Transformation Challenge on a Saturday, right before they were closing, and told me I had 3 days to cancel if I changed my mind. When I got home and looked over the contract in detail I realized I did not want to be a part of this. I called within 24 hours and she wouldn't allow me to cancel and said there was no cancelation period (even though the camp had not started) So I was forced to continue since they had charged me for half of the $500!

I was given the 5% body fat loss as my challenge and they used a really old Omron machine to record my body fat % which I thought it would be ok. Little did I know this machine is NOT ACCURATE AT ALL! And the contract is based on this so they wont allow you to use anything else. I used it twice and my percentage was off by 2%.

After completing the challenge, checking in EVERY DAY, and doing all the homework they made me do (which is a LOT just so you are aware) I was given the Omron again to measure my final body fat and I did not pass it (they only allow you to use it once, but I used it twice and it was completely different!)

Now Vernadette charged a card that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE nor SIGNED FOR and I had to call my bank to contest it. They dont care about you at all, they are looking for easy money from failures and drop offs. TRUST ME, THIS IS THE REAL SCAM, they are not even from Santa Barbara so they don't care. Trust my advice, they WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY EITHER WAY, and the worst part is that this whole thing revolves around a DAMN MACHINE that DOES NOT WORK. You are literally set up to fail and get scammed from the very beginning.
