SCUM

These muppets sent a threatening email to me yesterday stating I owe them £375 for a Together Energy bill.

Rang them and told them I owe nothing and was told to “send evidence and prove it”. Don’t think so, you clowns can send me the evidence stating that I owe this money.

How do they think it’s acceptable to send an email and demand money in 7 days otherwise they are sending dept collectors to your address? An address, let me add, that I have not lived at for almost 2 years and will be taking me to court if I don’t pay up.

You can pay me a visit for sure, although, I will not be there.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!

Total scumbags

0 stars !!! These guys are basically trying to scare people into paying outstanding bills that don't exist😡😡😡. I too received an email saying i owed over £200 for a property I sold over 2 years ago. When I settled the bill back in 2021 Together Energy owed me money due to me not living there for 6 months over winter.I was reinbursed over £300. By law no one can ask for money after 12 months anyway. Together Energy went under in 2022 so some how these guys have managed to get my details. I've blocked emails from them because they can do one. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY !!!!

Threatening email about owing Together Energy

Got an email today saying that I owed Together Energy £185 from December 2020. Luckily I'd saved all my bills and having gone through them, in fact THEY owe ME £185, so I've asked Thebsbco to pursue this on my behalf! So I'll look forward to getting that back in 7 days - the same amount of time they said I had to pay!
Yeah, right! I bet there are some people who haven't kept bills back this long and if I hadn't, I'd probably have just paid it as they were threatening action.

I see there's a quite a lot of other people who have had the same issue - it's unnerving and it's WRONG!

Case sorted and closed by BSB

Update,

After extended discussions with BSB and willingly providing to them evidence that I'm not in any debt, BSB has successfully sorted and closed my case today.
I want to mention the warm and respectful attitude of their employees reassuringe that this matter will be looked into and sorted as soon as possible.
Therefore, it is mandatory for me to revise my review to the highest score for their proffesional attitude and promptitude sorting this case in the shortest possible time.
Thank you and wish you all the best!

Woke up today having a worrying and on a threatening side email that I am in debt with Together energy. I left this company in 2021, I have proof of the last bill and payment made before switching to another company. Furthermore, I have proof that Together energy has cancelledy subscription and DD after final bill was paid. I officially informed you in writing to provide proof of this debt or cease this harassment immediately. I spent all day to email you and have not been contacted yet. Recently, noticed that this country is becoming a heaven for scammers and fraudulent requests and customers have no support.

Despicable Cowboys

Despicable company chasing a non existent debt from Together Energy who I switched away from over 2 years ago. No debt with them 100%! They are clearly fishing in the hopes that some people pay up! They need reporting to the regulator and/or Financial Ombudsman.

Received an email from a no reply…

Received an email from a no reply email, claiming I owe £701 from an account with Together Energy for a property I lived in June 2020-August 2021.
British Gas has taken over Together Energy, and I settled anything outstanding with British Gas at this time.
Double checked with British Gas this afternoon, to which they assured me that anything outstanding from Together would've and was passed to themselves, and I have nothing outstanding with them.

Scam company purchasing company data to attempt to bully and scare the vulnerable into paying a nonexistent debt.

Been harassed by Bsb for months and months, apparently I owe utility point 16.37 so they keep threatening a 50.00 charge. I’m sure I settled my utility point bill years ago when I switched. Sure it’s a scam wish someone would shut them down. I might contact my local mp.

Absolute scam

As many of the reviews here, I was contacted about a theoretical debt to an energy company (Utility Point) that went into administration. They barely sent any information about the debt and only sent supposed dates and figures after persistant contact with unhelpful employees. I disputed the debt several times (even recently), proving that I didn't owe anything, and this was ignored to the point that 7 months later they are still pursuing the debt and threathening with debt collectors. Complete scam that will be reported.

Absolute scam artists.

Absolute scam artists.

Similar experience to others, they claim I owe money that I do not, they provide no evidence that I owe any money despite being asked for it multiple times.

I have copies of my final bill which was paid in full. I have since blocked their number and their calls as they are clearly phishing for money that is not owed to them.

False information - potential fraud?

Told me on telephone that I owed over £500 for re previous energy supplier Entice. Never received any statement or reminder and believed I didn’t owe anything.Asked for copy of statement which they sent along with banking details and they wanted me to provide evidence I had paid this so called debt. The statement meter readings were significantly higher from 12 months ago than they are today! I have photographic evidence of current readings sent to my current provider last month. Number blocked. Evidence provided to them and told them I am not paying. Scam artists.
