Hello, On Thursday the 14th of May around 2pm my friend and i visited the Old Volunteer Carlton, Nottingham, We have done so on many occasions in the past. My friend sat outside as the weather was quite good, My friend is a pensioner and asked if i could go in and choose one of your Ales. I requested a sample of one of them but my friend did not like that particular one, So i went back in to ask for another one more to his liking. At which point the bar maid began lecturing me about costs and that this can not go on forever. Bearing in mind that this was only the 2nd sample we had requested. Basically the bar woman was rude and inhospitable in the extreme to me. I will make sure to write as many negative reviews online about my experience that day. And naturally i will never return to the Old volunteer again . I am almost 60 years old and have never been treated so appallingly by bar staff like i was on that day. She was downright difficult and unfriendly.
