Stylist cut off 5 inches without my permission. Awful service after complaining.

My second keratin treatment. The first was great, the second was awful. The keratin part was fine but the cut was absolutely not what I asked for or agreed on. My hair before was about hip level and had no heavy layers. Stylist Philip told me he’d removed about 1.5 inches, I said sure. At the end, I saw that he’d cut off about 5 inches total. He even said “I cut off more than I said I would”, I asked if it was because the ends were dead, and he answered, “no, just overgrown”. This is appalling logic, as the whole point of long hair is that it’s overgrown. I also asked for minimal long layers, and Philip ended up doing a lot of heavy texture in the front most part of my hair. So much of my hair is gone, I did not ask for or agree on that at all. I’m deeply upset and have been crying for days. I hate it so much and I regret going back. Furthermore, my first keratin treatment was £500, this one was £600. A hundred pound mark up in 8 months is insane. I contacted the salon for at least a partial refund. They said no, and I was only offered £50 store credit - I don’t want that because I’m obviously not coming back? Ganna Carpenter took 6 days to respond to me, and then said “we can’t help you because it’s been over a week”. Seriously? How is it my fault that the 7-day deadline was passed because YOU took 6 days to respond?

My sister came to this place for a haircut and the same thing happened. Stylist Ellie pressured her into cutting off around 4 inches when my sister specified she wanted to grow it out.

Appalling lack of care and respect from stylists Philip, Ellie, and the manager Ganna Carpenter. Genuinely unbelievable service, I’ve never felt so scammed. We will not be coming back. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
