Excellent App

Excellent app, first used Testi app which is a manual booking system whereas Test Shift books tests automatically based on your own settings and preferences. Had 3 cancellations come through recently before original scheduled test in April and passed! Would definitely recommend this App!

Complete scam

Complete scam. Signed up over a week ago And it hasn’t offered a single change. I wish I looked at Trustpilot earlier!!!! It just shows it’s scanning all the time. There’s obviously a fault with the app. Paid £17.99 what a rip off for nothing.

Absolutely brilliant

I downloaded this app for my son as his test was originally booked for April in Speke, Liverpool. This is the busiest test centre in Merseyside so rest dates are minimal. After 24hrs he now has a test in December!!!

I’ve been trying to get onto test shift…

I’ve been trying to get onto test shift for over a week just saying maintenance I emailed them no response and I emailed them again asking for a refund got back to me within a hour and refused my refund still no answer what’s happening with the app

Saved me 124 days

Failed a driving test and had a test booked for 6 months away in a different test centre, used test shift and it got me a slot at my test centre originally. Then got a random notification that my test got moved way way earlier and saved me 124 days! Was really pleased. Unfortunately I failed my next test and was looking forward to using it again but it’s been under maintenance for a while so not sure what’s going on there.

Was advised to use the app by my…

Was advised to use the app by my instructor to find a new test day after booking a slot but it’s been under maintenance for over a week now what’s going on? Now I’m scared about my test date as it looks like I’m going to have to cancel it if this site doesn’t get its self up and running.

Disappointing, constantly in maintenance

Disappointing, i have been trying to get a cancellation however website seems to be constantly on maintenance.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing twice but makes no difference?
What is going on?
We pay for the Premium service to shift the tests but can't even log on?

I honestly don’t understand what other…

I honestly don’t understand what other people are experiencing. It has been amazing for me. I had a test booked at the end of April which was moved forward to today using test shift. Previous great experience with a previous test date for my other child.

Test shift premium auto shift worked for us

I first paid for Testi which sent lots of notifications but by the time you log in etc the slot has gone. I then paid for test shift premium but for 1-2 weeks I couldn’t access the site as there were issues with it. When it did work I selected my test centres, availability and auto shift and within 2 weeks it had moved my sons test from a centre miles away and months away to the time we wanted. It worked very well for us and I have recommended it a lot.

Worked well for me

You will likely need to pay for the premium subscription, as if you do not you will be at a disadvantage compared to someone who has done. Test originally booked for end of march, got moved by 3-4 weeks to end of Feb, and then got one at a week's notice for November. The app can reserve a test for 15mins to allow you time to check your calendar, or it can automatically shift your test for you either forwards or backwards. you have the option to select certain times/dates that you are unavailable, and these will not be automatically booked by the app. you can choose up to three test centres to check.

Bear in mind that any driving test shifting app is only effective when there are tests being cancelled, so there is obviously no guarantee it finds something to suit you.

My expierence was positive

My expierence was positive . Downloaded the app and paid for premium. Test was for my kid..

Booked retest in a test centre far away via dvca. Set the app to autobook retest in prefered centre and days. do note . Once test rebooked you must disable preferences on the app or it will rebook it again on a different date.

Nothing happpened for 10days. Then test was autoshifted . Kid took the test and passed.

Very happy!

Pointlessly paid for premium

Paid for premium weeks ago and have had one measly alert for a date that was in 2 days time. If you're going to waste your money at least go for one of the apps that allows you to pick more than 3 locations.

Excellent app

I used this for a closer date for my first test it was auto shifted and worked great for me. I failed then tried to book again but could not get back on the app. I contacted customer services who sorted it out and within 2 days I had another cancellation booked for within the next two weeks would highly recommend this app.

Absolute waste of money

Absolute waste of money. Purchase their premium account and it didn’t work. Contacted their support and they are as helpful as a chocolate fire guard. They point you back to Apple for a refund and Apple won’t refund and say you have to contact the developer. Avoid at all costs as this company is a scam. They take your money and the app dosent even work.

Waste of money, ignore the app

Before buying the “Premium Version” of the app, it kept showing messages saying that I had missed a specific slot a few minutes or hours ago. However, as soon as I purchased the “Premium Version,” it suddenly stopped notifying me about the missed slots. The last slot I missed was maybe around 20 days ago. Because I logged out I think that if I reset the app, I might start getting notifications about cancellations again. But after I logged out and tried to log back in, it kept saying “under maintenance". Before logged out I gave feedback through the app regarding cancellations, still I haven't received any response

On the other hand, my friend, who subscribed using “testi,” still receives notifications about cancellations quite often.

Too many disappointments and disadvantages. Spending money on this app feels like a "waste of money "
