Canceled my account in June. Supposedly on a pre pay account now, and they stole €10 from my account yesterday! On the phone now, but customer service can't see anything because my account is CLOSED!
An update: I tried to reach out to TescoMobile on Twitter. They banned me from corresponding with them! Don't use this shower of crooks.
I am a long member of tesco mobile yesterday l did something to my phone and everything went black l lost all my apps , l called to tesco mahon point this morning l first asked the young man could he help me he said straight away he would try, he was sooo polite and efficient he was unsure at first and asked me to leave it with him , l called back 15 mins later and he had my phone perfect and took the time to explain what l had done , Garcia was his name ,the staff in tesco mobile are the best staff l have come across in years, a credit to the company
Took 30 euro out of my account and called it a shadow payment. No email no confirmation no notting they just said ohh it will be back in your account within 10 days. You can't just take money out of people's accounts ffs
Bought a €10 tesco mobile sim card thinking it was pay as you go, it lasted 5 days. I reverted back to old sim from other network. Next thing I get a bill for 60 euro and told I made 200 odd calls no notification of anything. Just account debited. Their 089 helpline comes up number not recognised as did another 2 numbers, no email to write to.
Waited 32 mins for customer care and it took further 45 mins to cancel. Total joke
Avoid at all costs and save yourself the headache of atrocious service and pick a different network.
Nightmare to navigate, top up, terrible connectivity and coverage.
Better off using two paper cups and a string.

Incompetent, unhelpful beyond crap customer service. I have been once again cut off once again by Tesco mobile. I have got a new number off them from an old account that they had duplicated one in my dads name one in my name which made access to pay this account near impossible as I couldn’t close the account in my dads name since it wasn’t my name even though it was under the same number and was the same phone but I was being charged twice. Then I payed to unlock the other account under the new number which I shouldn’t of had to do which took a month of going around in circle phone call after phone call and using the worst chatbot ever. Now after one month of unlocking my account they have blocked it again as payment was due the 8th of July but I’m under direct debit. The money should have been taken out but wasn’t ? And yet I’ve been blocked. Worse than that you don’t get any emails warning you of this .When I try log into my account under my name with the new number I can’t get in. Using the number that’s mine or password or if I try ti change password using mothers maiden name and number won’t work and these details are correct as I used them to unlock the account a month ago with my payment and I had to give the number and maiden name. Shocking I’ve been locked out from everything and I can tell you what I’m not paying a reactivation fee. Terrible company cannot wait to get out of this contract awful customer service and awful company.

Had a problem with data roaming as I work abroad alot, after many phone calls to customer service they eventually terminated my subscription and I lost the phone number I've had for over 20 years. I tried everything to resolve the issue but they were obstructive at every turn. Guess what they still want to send me a bill for usage. My advice and please listen, go to a reputable phone company,tesco should stick to selling groceries
I've been struggling a lot in the last week with all my calls via Tesco mobile - could not hear anything from the other side! Tried twice to clarify that issue with the technical staff - said that everything on the system seems perfectly fine, and all of a sudden got the most annoying SMS that contract change is going to apply from 10th July in regards 3G numbers! Absolutely frustrating after being a loyal customer since 2015...

1st of all they overcharged me for data traffic almost 4 times. (80 eur instead 20), Instead to stop service right away when Unlimited data traffic was fully used. YES UNLIMITED DATA TRAFFIC HAS LIMITS. Seems Tesco Mobile lives in different world. Even more after canceling my subscription they kept sending bills for NOTHING, Literally FOR NOTHING. You cannot use data traffic but should pay. Strongly advise to avoid this company.
Brutal - data roaming never works, constant texts/ threats of disconnection regards data usage even though supposedly unlimited.Worst customer service ever, stay well clear

The worst mobile network I have ever used in the ROI. Data access is very limited indoors and outdoors. Calls constantly dropping. I’m done with this so called mobile network provider!

I and my wife have been with Tesco mobile for several years. It used to work well but for the past of years the Internet network doesn't work any more. It is highly difficult to make a watsapp call and we are located in Celbridge/ Lexeilip, which are more or less populated areas, not far drom Dublin. We are now both switching, for the money we pay to tesco mobile is actually a waste.
Before tesco mobile if you topup €15 you get 30 days unlimited internet and calls then they change to 28 days now its new thing on 26th day your mobile data finished you need to topup then I check Tesco mobile app it shows you have 2 days to topup but my Internet data finished my all apps stop working then I topup so basically we get only 26 days only not 28 days
signed up for them (temporarily) when I first moved to Ireland because it was convenient to get a sim from the grocery shop. called to cancel my subscription 2 months in when I switched to another provider and 6 months later I am somehow still getting charged for the sim. I called to cancel my subscription THREE times and somehow my account is still running. Ridiculous.

IN DESPERATION I signed up to Tesco mobile. I soon discovered that when at home, I couldn’t make or receive phone calls and had no mobile data, except at about 2am. I phoned Tesco mobile customer support, emailed them and visited them in-store. I was told that my phone was working as it should, I must be in a ‘blackspot’ and the only way out would be to pay Tesco €150 for the unlock code or to pay €15 per month for 10 months.
“99% coverage, great value plans and award-winning customer service ........” – all claims made by Tesco mobile, ALL NOT TRUE AND TOTALLY MEANINGLESS!!!!!! Good reviews for Tesco mobile are VERY RARE on Trustpilot.
