Monday Afternoon is Actually Sunday
I placed an order on a regular Monday afternoon and since the item was time critical paid for it to be delivered overnight. The next day the tracking info. said that UPS was waiting for the parcel, that the label had been created. I emailed Orion customer service asking why it was going to be late. They responded that they don't ship on weekends. I responded that a Monday afternoon order has nothing to do with the weekend. They responded with the same answer, verbatim. I had a choice between overnight and 2nd day delivery. I paid for overnight. I got second day. Every time I try to raise the issue they say, "We don't ship on weekends". So, giving them the benefit of the doubt, they can't come out and say that they regard Monday afternoon as Sunday. Or they're just that screwed. How can what is regarded as a reputable company get something so direct so wrong. Overnight does not mean 2nd day. AND...if it had been a problem with the weekend, my invoice should have given the second day as the delivery date. It did not. It specifically listed the next day as the delivery date.
