unreasonable cancellation terms.
The set up was OK but the cancellation terms are very unreasonable especially when you consider that many of the customers are elderly and vulnerable people.

Bad policy for not refunding when somebody passes away
Having originally purchased for my dad in December 2019 the unit was due for its annual renewal in late December 2020. My dad paid £224 for the renewal but he sadly passed away in early January 2021. When I contacted customer service they advised me no pro rata refund would be issued however, I could transfer the service?!?! If I didn’t want to do that I would then have to return the unit at my earliest convenience. Within a few weeks of losing my dad I was chased for the return of the unit despite them receiving a full years payment. Shocking customer service and no compassion whatsoever and the fact that no refund was offered is totally unacceptable.

Quick and efficient service
Quick and efficient service, the equipment was easy to set up and the instructions were clear to follow. When testing the alarm the call handler was helpful and gave clear indications of how to check all functions of the alarm including the range for which I needed to go to the end of the garden. The monthly check was straightforward and a query was answered helpfully by a cheery member of your team. Thank you for helping me to feel safe at home.

I’ve only had it a month but the set up…
I’ve only had it a month but the set up was easy. The operator was professional and polite and the instructions easy to follow.
The price is reasonable, the only minor complaint I’ve got is he fact you have to pay for a spare pendant but that really is a minor issue.

I am so glad I chose a Telecare…
I am so glad I chose a Telecare personal alarm - it was easy to order online and the service was quick and fuss free.
My package arrived the next day - as I am 87 and a little frail, I needed the help of my neighbour to set up the equipment but it only took a short while before we were able to contact Telecare to start the service and now I have peace of mind that someone will be able to help me, should I have a fall at home. I choose to wear the wrist band, which is extremely light and does not hinder me at all. Thank you Telecare. Regards Kathleen Ashforth
