I got a call to offer a mobile…

I got a call to offer a mobile subscription, i explained to him that with comviq i pay less (50kr less), he still tried, then i told him for instance i have internet subscription (fiber) with tele2, that i need to get rid of because it is super expensive.
He then offered to give me a phone subscription of 150kr by month and something like 350kr for home internet 4G instead of fiber.
I accepted because i am almost not using the home internet.
But there is a trick here, in the sent contract there was a discount that says family package(never mentionned in the initial call), so in fact the two subscriptions are combined and with a family discount ferm for two years.
It is not my mobil number that is discounted it is the internet membership.. in fact i did not get any discount, the phone subscription is 50kr more expensive than comviq, and the internet is same price in all companies if you take it individually (with their 200 family discount).
When i called and asked them they said you had 15 days to cancel now too late.
Tele2 has always brilliant tricks,instead of cancelling the super expensive fiber, he sold me mobile subscription and home 4G, but that works for short term, if after two years they sell me all tele2 for free i will not subscribe again.

Get What You are Promised in Writing or As Order Confirmation

The customer service agents were nice and promised that Tele2 will uphold the special offer pricing after the offer expired because I couldn't place an order due to a delay caused on their end. This was promised by two different customer service agents at two separate occasions who had a helpful attitude.

This was until I spoke with Julie at the "regret" department who spoke down of her two colleagues, explicitly stating her manager will reprimand them for making promises that the company will not uphold.

Instead of the focus of the call being helping the customer, it was suddenly internal politics. They lost me as a faithful customer after more than 5 years.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful, when I first got it i had no problems really. 200mbps at all times but now its 4mbps in Viimsi in the evening. Have contacted them multiple times for solutions but nothing has worked. Even have worked 10+ hours on the router website myself trying to maximise the settings but still nothing. Factory reset and it works for 4minutes and then goes back to unusable. At the start it was good for a moment and after that they have not fixed anything for more than a year when they said they would.

A cheat company with crappy service

A cheat company with crappy service, can't provide a reliable service and then not helping at all in resolution. They will lure you with some shitty offer and let you be on your own without any customer service. Don't fall for them, go to other operators, you will be more happy, been in a horrific year long contract and won't go near them again!!

DO NOT GO WITH TELE2 FOR ANYTHING

Absolutely horrible service, horrible packages and once you buy a package, they are just extorting money out of you in every way. I have one of the high packages with unlimited calls and data in Sweden but with a ceiling ONLY on international call. If I hit the ceiling, then even my unlimited calls and data within Sweden is cut off....ridiculous, would not recommend anyone to go with Tele 2.

Forces you to pay for a service you don’t know about

Spams your SMS messages with ads nobody cares about and among all that trash there’s the message that’s writen in positive, happy light that’s supposedly tailored to the customer’s needs when what that message is if you ignore it they say something among the lines “So if you ignore about not cancelling our bonus service of protecting your internet you’ll have to pay around 1.49 Eur.”, my mom didn’t see it and was forced to pay over 15 Eur like that. Guess we should have read something from scratch but that force-upon you service nobody asked for is a slimy move by the company.

Practically non-existent customer…

Practically non-existent customer service! Fees that I was not aware of, or approved of on the invoices. And if you have a complaint about it, there's no one to talk to, and instead referred to their web page to search for answers yourself.

Will never use tele2 again! Or recommend to others

Very poor service

Very poor service. They are sabotaging their existing customers. I was using 100Mbit/sec broadband for 3 years costing 329kr per month and they suddenly decided to discontinue the service and moved me to 250Mbit/sec broadband costing 549kr/month. Other companies are offering 290kr/month for 100Mbit/sec broadband. Looks like they are not interested in small individual customers like me anymore. Anyways, I have switched to a better provider now,

Worst and illegal business practices in Sweden

Worst business practices in Sweden. Worst customer services.

I was recently in the USA, and the Tele2 salesmen would call me daily for selling me services. Worth noting: I had already withdrawn my consent to such marketing calls, but they kept going. When I asked them to please stop, they would not listen to me and simply start calling the next day again. Worst part: for those calls, I would get charged because I was in the USA. And if I refused to answer to their harassment, they would go to voicemail, which also involved costs for me.

End of story: my monthly bill went from 300 to almost 1000SEK, because of costs incurred by their unlawful business practices.

When I appealed the costs, I got this message:
”Hej!

Ditt ärende är nu åtgärdat. Vi har nu kontrollerat trafiken som debiterats från utländska operatören/operatörerna och trafiken stämmer i enlighet med den detaljspecifikation som tillhandahållits i samband med faktureringen.

Hälsningar Tele2”

Incredible.

I called their customer service and they said ”we can’t help you”.

Unbelievable!!

I reported this to Konsumentverket and initiated proceedings against them.

Stay away from this company!!!

2 Year contract and then they decimated the service

In January I signed a 2 year contract with Tele2 for a streaming service that included Tele2's service, Viaplay and Showtime Commercial Free and Disney with commercials. I decided to pay extra for the Disney commercial free. Now, not only did they change Viaplay to the commercial version, they have removed one of the choices. Meaning now, instead of getting 2 services commercial free, I get none. This is fraud plain and simple and they should not be allowed to hide behind their excuse of "terms and conditions." STAY AWAY fron this company and their predatory sales methods at all costs.

Telia>Tele2

The internet was always slow 1-10 mb per second speeds and we were considered lucky even if it did reach 10 the customer support is bad we have been complaining to them for over 6 months telling us nonsense about how the modem may be faulty we have called them multiple times telling us they will call us back to no call and now they have given us a new modem just incase the old one was faulty and the internet is still the same speed we have wanted to cut off the internet with them for over 3 months but they keep making up excuses SERVICES ARE BAD!

Very bad network service and prices is…

Very bad network service and prices is way higher compared to other companies such as Telenor, etc although they own Comviq and can provide cheaper prices.

Not to mention, customer service is the worst, they don’t help and very rude.

Literally the worst operator in the world....

Worst operator i have ever had, and regret moving to over to them.

1. They are great at billing you for services, but not providing them. Asked for India data package over the phone before i left - the guy forgot to add it. I asked for South Africa data package when travelling there. Data didn't work when i arrived there - had to use an e-sim for data. Tele2 then claims there is no background for reimbursement...

2. Every time i speak to their customer service to get these things sorted, they speak and approach you as if you are just wrong, and wasting their time. I even ha the chat said - well then you read it wrong....

Will exit this terrible service provide as soon as contractually possible. Baffled by the audacity of the client service and terrible service.
