Devon's leading hydroponics store for bad customer service...
Order 1048 dated 27/06/2014.
Under distance selling the first proper opportunity you have to view the product(s) ordered is when they arrive. After checking that the actual item wanted looked like their webpage stock image - the company were initially helpful - I placed my order for eight of them.
When they arrived it was apparent they were different to the website image and what I required so I asked to return them un-used under Distance Selling Regulations UK law which I am legally entitled to do.
I received a curt two paragraph reply with no salutation or sign-off ending with "...Just return it and you will be refunded and please don’t buy from us in the future."
When I asked them to confirm the website returns address and for whose attention - so I knew the returns address was up to date before posting the item back - I was told in a curt seven-word one-line reply with no salutation or sign-off to look it up myself on their website "its on the website under contact us".
With no confidence in this company or their standard of customer service I invoked the PayPal protection process. i did get my original full payment refund but not the return shipping which I gave up on pursuing.
