Tchibo credits can't be used online or instore

Converted our Wunschgutschein into Tchibo vouchers and purchased online. We returned two items because they were too small and the credit went back to our Tcibo account. Now we have a credit that we cannot use both online or in-store. The app and the store dont recognise the credit when purchasing. Wasted money, we will never buy from Tchibo again.

Horrendous customer support

I bought a milk foamer from them. It broke after less than two months of usage. Their webiste to generate a return label to have it repaired is broken and speaking to a human seems impossible on the phone.

When you write an email, a bot just replies to you to use their link (which does not work as intended). If you finally manage, after 12 messages to get someone to answer your support ticket asking you to send the rechnung to send you a shipping label, when you reply another person will just answer with the templated response, completely unaware of the context of the conversation.

At this point, I wasted over 3 hours sending emails and calling, and prefer filing a customer complaint via post but it must be the worse customer service experience I ever had.

What an incredibly bad company—scammers!

What an incredibly bad company—real scammers!

Some time ago, I bought two expensive Qbo coffee machines (a brand of Tchibo). These machines use capsule recognition to brew the perfect coffee.

Two weeks ago, I bought new capsules at a Tchibo store, but when I tried to use them, the machine didn’t recognize them, making them unusable. After searching online, I found a website explaining that Tchibo had stopped printing the dot pattern on the capsules, meaning Qbo machines can no longer read them. Tchibo never communicated this to me, so I had no idea. On top of that, there is almost no information about this on their website.

Now, I have two machines and a stock of capsules that I can no longer use, with a total loss of more than €600!

I contacted Tchibo customer service about this, and they quickly offered a reasonable solution. I also read on their website that they provide a good resolution. They offered to exchange the two machines for a new (but much simpler) model. Not the best solution, but okay—it seemed like a fair deal. After providing all the requested information, I was assured that the machines would be exchanged.

However, two days later, I received a message from another employee saying they no longer exchange machines, they don’t accept returns for coffee capsules, and that I was simply out of luck.

So, despite receiving confirmation from customer service twice and the promise on their website, I’m left with nothing. Now, I have two machines and a large stock of capsules, but I can’t use either in any way.

I emailed them twice more, explaining that I had received the promise three times, but they simply stopped responding. Truly scammers!

Thanks to Tchibo, I’ve lost approximately €600, and they refuse to do anything or even reply. Total fraudsters!

This company scam i don't recommend it for no one because internet bad to much service bad the say ja ja ja and thy are stupid i have contact i can wiat to go 2 company thy stole 40€ from bank account and the say its from me and and and. If u wish really internet and respect go A1 company not this jokers shem in Vienna so company from my pian i will stop any one want contact telephone or internet 🛜 because bad bad bad wen this company start was so good from 2 years go down and broken service sorry but evey one he wish to have good quality but tchibo Austria quality 0

Tchibo is not reliable for online shopping

I had the worst possible experience with online shopping ever by shopping at Tchibo. I ordered a couple of pillows and fist, they were shipped separately and it took more than 5 weeks to get them both despite the lead time of about 1-2 weeks offered on the website. Also tracking was not correct and I never knew when the would arrive. After receiving them, unfortunately they were too ridgid, so I returned them according the return policy.
It has been now three months and despite multiple attempts to claim my money back, they keep saying that they will look into it, that they will contact the vendor, etc., etc. I contacted the merchant of the pillows directly, which confirmed the goods were returned property, but that I needed to settle donm the reimbursement with Tchibo. The fact is I still do not have my money back. For this reason, I strongly not recommend this company for online shipping. It is not reliable at all

Online order, never arrived

I ordered kids clothes from their website, with the option to pick them up from one of their physical stores. When i received the email confirmation that the order is ready to be picked up, I went to the store but surprise, the order was not there. They told me come next day. I went next day, just before closing times to make sure there is enough time for the order to arrive but, again, the order didn’t arrive. The staff just told me to come another day. What a lack of professionalism and respect towards customers.

Scammers, terrible service and organization!!!!

The most unorganized clothing store in the planet.

I bought some clothes at the company online. They didn't manage to withdraw the money and later they send a later requiring payment. I received the letter when the payment was already expired.

The amount was 85 euros, I paid 100 euros already to avoid problem. I sent the receipt for them.

One month later they freaking sending a letter saying that my name was in some kind of debt instution. I send another email proving that I paid and they apologize for the mistake.

Another freaking month later, they come again asking for money.

Tchibo Online-Einkaufserlebnis

I have been a Tchibo customer for not so long, only since April 2020 after moving to Germany. Ever since then, I have always been satisfied with Tchibo, expecially with their customer service team. I mostly shop online and they do their job perfectly and with respect. I feel that I can rely on them and can shop with Tchibo without any worries. I believe it is something Tchibo customer service team should be proud of as it is very rare to receive such fair and customer-oriented service here in Germany. For that, they definitely deserve 5 stars from me :)

Misleading package.

I bought at Kaufland 2 pairs of blue socks 6+euro. I open them at home at what an awful surprise, the 2nd pair are white. I hate white and beige socks. Nowhere at the package is to be seen that there are 2 colors. The white ones were hidden in a compartment that was part of the paper package. Misleading package, I would never buy them at 1st place if I knew there are white socks in it.

Steal ideas of small companies

If you support small businesses, do not support Tchibo. They blatantly steal product designs and create knock offs, thus limiting sales from smaller companies that created the product initially.

jumble sale outlet which also sells coffee but does not ship to all EU with a lame excuse

While they deliver to a small selection of countries outside Germany, they are unwilling to ship to very many countries.
A very parochial attitude and not at all a company wishing to participate on a pan-European or global scale.
Poor entrepreneurial spirit.
Besides they have gone from being TCHIBO - a shop for excellent good coffee - to becoming TCM marketing - a jumble sale outlet store for all sorts of not so cheap but sometimes shoddy goods - with coffee being sold almost on the side.

Their excuse for not shipping to many countries
"Ursächlich für die fehlende Möglichkeit eines Versands in diese Regionen sind steuerrechtliche Herausforderungen."
"The reason for the inability to ship to these regions are tax challenges."

VERY MANY other companies in and out of Germany have no problem with this.
Between EU Member States there is the internal market which means there are no tax problems as it is regulated by the EU Commission.

Most terrible services and delivery

For the 3rd time in a row I have had a bad online shopping experiences with Tchibo. Again the lingerie was sent in the dirty and in the open box. It took ages to deliver my package. I sent it back and from now on this shop does not exists for me.
Bag quality products, Ugly services, Terrible attitude and VERY bad delivery! Beware before you order something on tchibo.de

Coffee only

- I didn’t use my Tchibo SIM card for over a year. When I needed to use it again I discovered it had been cancelled. Customer service are doubtful that they can do anything and advise that I buy a new card and start from scratch. Credit lost 😡
- My internet radio from Tchibo lasted less than 2 years and, even when new, was never very good.
- Tchibo coffee is ok, but I wouldn’t recommend them for anything else.
