While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Poor experience

This company offers inbound call services that are supposed to connect a potential insurance client to an insurance agent. There are lots of companies that do this and I have tested numerous to ensure we find the best fit for our agency.

Target Leads claims that I missed calls and then billed me for them, even though they never showed up on my end. I can clearly see the time stamp that they claim a call came through, however nothing is showing on my phone to match. I provided screenshots and they will not take accountability, claiming it must be my phone (keep in mind, I have used other companies that have the same call platform as Target Leads and never encountered this issue elsewhere). There are other inbound sources who easily track down missed call glitches and refund the credit once asked about it.

Besides their call routing glitches which they charged me for, most of the callers that came through were expecting to get "a free $25,000 check for calling before Friday." They have no idea that it is about life insurance. It is an absolute joke. They run misleading advertising to the prospects and charge agents for invisible missed calls then tell you its policy to never reimburse calls... It just feels like theft after seeing it happen multiple times. Personally I will run different inbound FEX sources because Target Leads has not helped me reach quality prospects. There is a reason they are one of the cheapest FEX inbound calls on the market.

EDIT 11/17/2025:
Target leads responded saying they started in August of 2025, however their website states they have been operating since 1985. This is false advertising.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. Our team works hard to ensure every customer has the best possible ordering and call-handling experience, and we regret any frustration you may have encountered.

Our inbound call leads program launched in August 2025, and as with any new initiative, we’ve been continuously refining processes to deliver smoother, more reliable results. We’ve addressed early issues—including occasional missed calls—and in many cases discovered that spam-blocking apps, unsaved numbers on callers' phones or carrier level blocking were all preventing successful connections. Because your review is anonymous, we’re unable to look into your specific situation, but we’d be happy to investigate further if you reach out to us directly.

Regarding the ads used for incoming calls, we want to reassure you that every customer receives copies of all ads in advance, before any calls begin. None of our advertisements offer a free $25,000 check. We always encourage customers to review the ads beforehand to ensure they’re comfortable with the content and the types of calls they may receive.

We value your feedback and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you to resolve any concerns. Please feel free to contact our support team so we can assist you personally.

EDITED 11-17-2025: Reviewer edited their review to state that we started in August of 2025 but our website states we have been operating since 1985. To confirm, we have been in business since April 1985. We started as a Direct Mail service provider. The inbound call lead program is a new program we started offering in August 2025 at the request of some existing customers. We celebrated 40 years in business this year, but this particular program is new.
