Didn't recieve services or a refund
This company operates using 3 names (Sponsored Flow, Sponsored Zone, and Targeted Flow).
When I posted a campaign on Indiegogo, this company contacted me with an offer to promote my campaign with an assurance they could raise $25,000 if I signed up for their $249 program. With a money-back guarantee offer (both on their website and in their email offer), I signed up. In a few days, they contacted me and said after doing some research on my product and market, they were confident they could raise $145,000 if I upgraded to their $950 package, which I did. All payments were required to be made through PayPal as the company doesn’t accept credit cards.
Unfortunately, the company never ran any campaign for me. Nothing. After a month of delays, the company told me to make a request to PayPal for a full refund, which I did. Turns out the company did not honor their money-back guarantee but instead told PayPal NOT to make a refund. Although I provided to PayPal copies of emails from the company that I should request a refund, as well as copies of the company’s emails to me saying they offered a full money-back guarantee, PayPal did not refund the money I paid to the company. I spent $950 and got nothing.
Interestingly, I had asked the company about a negative review posted on TrustPilot, and they said they refunded that person’s money, who then posted a negative review anyhow. I don’t know if that person did or didn’t get their money back, but I know the company absolutely didn’t refund my money. If they ever do, I PROMISE that I will update this review and say so.
I lost $950 dealing with this company. I should have known better. The company’s website shows hundreds of 5-star reviews – yet an online search for reviews for this company shows no reviews posted anywhere online. The company does not have a phone number that you can call to reach them. I checked Way Back Machine and Who Owns Domain and discovered this company has operated under 3 different business names (Sponsored Zone, Sponsored Flow, and Targeted Jump) in the last few months. They do not accept credit cards (which would make it much easier for customers to get their money back). I’m embarrassed about making this poor business decision, and I’m posting this review so other crowdfunding campaigns know about my experience with this company and can make more informed decisions about using their services.
