HORRIFIC Customer Service

T-Mobile's customer service is horrific. After two previous failed call attempts, I again called to report that our account had received more than $600 in overcharges. After 15 minutes on hold it took another 15 minutes for verification and to review my problem. The customer service representative admitted the $600+ billing problem was T-Mobile's fault, and after over an hour on the phone he provided a $90 credit and said we would have the $600 balance in 72 hours. The balance never materialized and now I'm once again on hold waiting, it's been 20 minutes already. These companies pride themselves on waiting customers out, making them call over and over until they just give up and lose their money. They are predatory at best.

go somewhere else for internet

All I wanted to do was change my payment method. 3 customer service calls later, I have decided to drop them for a different carrier. The customer service is just about terrible. I even went to the store in town and the only thing the employees can do is take my money.

Ridiculosly high late fee/Price lock isnt guaranteed

2 stars as I switched over from boost mobile for internet purposes and a new phone. Forget to pay your bill, pay the day after and an extra $10.00 will be applied to your already high bill(I bundlefor what I thought would be $122.00, no more than $130.00. Price lock lies!!!!! What phone company charges $10.00 for a bill paid the day after?!?! That is a hefty late fee T-Mobile!!! My bill is close to $150.00 now for an iphone 15 and wifi box that needs restarting more often than not! T-Mobile is just a notch up from boost concerning my phone service with a bundle bill higher than spectrum.(that bill used to be $123.00,maybe $130.00 with a late fee under $10.00) My bill with a $10.00 late fee is $143 and some change. Ridiculous!!!! T-Mobile wont tell you that when theyre pushing that 5 year price lock lie! Im paying installments included in my bill on an iphone 15 that is mediocre with basic upgraded features ,mediocre camera lens, and does not work anywhere near downtown stl, the heart of the city with their so called full 5g coverage that completely drops off in areas I travel to,including work ,no 5g coverage causing me to have to wifi connect to the companys internet service in order to have any type of service. 2 stars as It does have working service in under bridgesand under train tunnels which boost never did. Pay my bill and enter into a new cycle and my phone still runs slowly after paying lose to $150.00!!! T-Mobile is deceptive in gaining customers concerning their prices and overall map coverage. Its not as good ss coverage as they say at all!!! I regret this contract but T-Mobile seemed to be the only service option in my area as AT&T claims to cover areas the dont at all and spectrum internet service sucks even worse than T-Mobile so I decided to go with them outside of a wifi box selling store. (As I needed a phone upgrade also)Probably would of been the same difference but cheaper.

I contacted T- Mobile to cancel my service. I paid the final bill. After the account was paid in full they sent me another bill for $ 40.09. I paid that bill. They closed my account and I did not have access to pay online. Two months later I received a bill for $80.09. The representative could not access my account and informed me that I had to go to their store to show them all the payments that were made. They informed me to contact their corporate office. I mailed a letter to them and copies of the amounts paid to T-mobile. Because I received another bill from them I sent them another payment for $ 80.09 on 7/16/26. Now I am receiving calls from collections stating I owe $110.00. T-Mobile doesn't allow you to end your contract with them after you pay them in full. They nickel and dime you.

T- Mobile, best service! Great coverage

I needed to add a phone line to my plan. I called customer service and a very kind man named Felix was awesome! Mr.Felix went above and beyond expectations! We had to get acct # and transfer pin from my wifes previous employer.Mr. Felix called me back which gave us time to get information he needed! Previous employer hasn't gotten back to my wife yet but Mr. Felix was able to take us step by step to get my wifes info and definitely knows all makes of cell phones inside and out.Mr. Felix got everything set up so all we have to do now is wait for my wifes info, account number & transfer pin, call T- Mobile and give them the previously mentioned info and she will automatically have her same phone # and it will be an added line to my account! Mr. Felix was extremely professional and walked us tru step by step all the way till finished. What an excellent customer Rep he is.Very kind hearded twords our needs and made everything very simple. My self and my wife could not have done what Mr. Felix did for us
Thank you again Mr.Felix. T-Mobile is very fortunate to have him as a customer Rep! Thanks again Mr.Felix!!

Ripofff! Scam! Lies!!!!!!! Lawsuit coming!

I got home internet back in April. I had an agent call me and offer internet for 35 a month with a $200 prepaid visa that I would recieve after I paid 2nd bill! Lies! It’s been 4 now going into 5 bills later and I just got off of the phone with so called customer service ( a 4 hour call)!!!! One I had been disconnected from 3 times prior to the last disconnection . All agents were told my number in case of disconnection and not one called back after disconnecting ! I still can’t redeem the card that has now been slashed from 200 to only 100 dollars! I’m told I have to wait another 3 hours and try again to verify my phone number this has been the problem the whole time when I go to retrieve the gift card I have to verify my number well it keeps saying invalid number. They had another persons name also on my account I never only paid 35 for internet my bill has always been 57.59 and that’s with auto pay ! I don’t see how they are getting away with this crap! How has there not been a class action lawsuit or something done about this? Don’t fall for the deception like I did they won’t give you your earned promotion, the price will change, then when you try to do something about it you will just get shuffled around or disconnected til you get frustrated and give up ! Scam! Ripoff ! Decieptfull!!!!!!

Worst plan ever

Honestly, they need to end their home internet plan. This is the shittiest plan I have ever used, and I swear their CEO needs to do things that I will not say. The home internet goes down almost every single day, and when it doesn't go down, I am always lagging when playing games, and my YouTube videos buffer when I just want some entertainment after a long day of work. The only thing good about it is that it's cheap. Other than that, it feels like I am always at 50 megabits/second instead of somewhere in the hundreds.

Horrible service

Horrible service. What they promise and what you get is two different things. We were told we would get new iPhone 17 for free and we could turn our iPhone 16’s in and would get a credit on our account. I have turned all information in and a representative said they would take care of me and make sure everything was good and I check my account because I have had a $439 bill for the past two months and everything has been denied and they didn’t even contact me. They promise the world and give you nothing. I have a bill with old provider of $2k that is due next week because I now have to pay for my iPhone 16’s that I mailed off to T-mobile for rebate that was denied and I still have my monthly $439 bill. ($200 is equipment charges for the new iPhone 17). They have definitely made a mess of things. The stress they have caused me is unreal. I don’t recommend at all… NEVER!

It’s honestly impressive how an entire organization can operate without a single person knowing what’s going on. Everyone gives a different answer, no one is on the same page, and after spending hours being transferred around, the one person who finally seems competent somehow always “accidentally” disconnects the call. 4 hrs and counting With nothing accomplished except frustration and lies; they don’t stand behind contracts and insurance . I didn’t complain when the U.S. Cellular merger left calls and texts unreliable for weeks. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. But this? This is the final straw.

Lied from the get go

Lied from the get go. Lost my 15+ years phone number tied to accounts. Lied about price. Sub standard service. Always unstable. Always moving the due date and will not let you pay an extension early, but will charge you around 5 a.m. for that extension. Three devices, $60 extra to turn back on. Sub standard phone and WILL NOT keep their promise. Go elsewhere.

Bria was amazing

Bria was amazing! We had a poor experience in the store and called in to customer service. Bria took care of us and fixed the problem with our bill. She was attentive, knowledgeable and t-mobile is very lucky to have her on their team. It’s so rare these days to get that caliber of service. Thank you for caring, Bria!

Worst

I have been a Sprint and T-Mobile customer for more than 19 years, and the customer service I have experienced recently has been the worst I have ever dealt with. Return phone calls are rarely made when promised, and getting issues resolved often requires multiple contacts.
I have also found that promotional offers seem to focus more on getting customers to upgrade and spend more money rather than providing genuine savings or solutions. On top of that, communication can be very difficult, and understanding some representatives has been a significant challenge.
After nearly two decades as a loyal customer, this level of service is extremely disappointing. Overall, my experience has been frustrating, and I would rate the customer service as poor.

T-Mobile scam. 2-year contract BS.

I've been a customer of T-Mobile's forever the coverage itself and all that is great but the customer support sucks I've been to the store three times in the past 10 days every single person that I talk to ends up in one way or another brushing me off to get somebody else to do their job. I have a flip 6 phone Samsung it's supposed to be able to trade in for a 2025 razor ultra but all they keep doing is telling me come back next week my payment is taken out on the 3rd of every month today is the 16th so the payment was made a month ago two years is up on my contract but they're trying to get me to hang on to the phone another 30 days because the payment don't go through till August tell me how that works when I started in July so let's see how many people I wonder end up marking up their phone within that 30 days and then T-Mobile can deny them getting a phone because it has damage on it occurred within that last 30 days that that phone should have already been turned in it's a total scam ran by T-Mobile. Needless to say I walked out of their office again ticked off because the person inside the store said it was a customer support thing so customer support told me that they should have been able to handle it so who is held responsible because nobody wants to accept the responsibility of taking care of one of their customers. This is at the T-Mobile store on 44th Street and ivanrest it's a corporate. And it's a joke.

They tell you to send back phones and…

They tell you to send back phones and then tell you that they don’t know what happened to them when they continue to charge you for those phones. They also are misleading in stores and they do not explain that the ““ free tablet is not free and you will be charged monthly for it. You’re just walking out the door without possibly paying a down payment on it. That’s all they mean by free. Be prepared for customer service like Roberta this morning that I had the pleasure of dealing with who could and would not help me with phones that have been taken off my account or was supposed to be taken off my account, including my Wi-Fi and and they never took it off so I had got charged again this month and it’s still on there. She wouldn’t do anything. I asked to hang up on her because she was being quite rude I’ll be making my own report to T-Mobile about this, steer clear of this company.
