Our child has been attending this school in Frankfurt for several years now, and we could not be happier with our experience. Even our child recognizes the very positive impact the school has had on their development, which says a lot in itself.

What we value most is the consistently professional, supportive, and positive attitude of the teachers. Thanks to their dedication, our child has made remarkable progress in both German and English. When starting at the school, our child’s German was almost nonexistent, and the improvement since then has been truly impressive.

Another great strength of the school is communication. The teachers are always proactive and transparent, whether it is through weekly updates about class content or discussions about our child’s overall development. We genuinely feel that there is a strong partnership between the school and parents, all working together for the benefit of the child.

We are extremely grateful to the class teacher and all the other teachers involved for their hard work, commitment, and care. We can wholeheartedly recommend this school.

My son was enrolled at SIS Swiss International School Ingolstadt when he had just turned five years old. During outdoor playtime, he was cornered by an older boy, slapped 3 to 4 times, and threatened not to tell anyone.

At home, I sensed something was wrong and only after patiently talking to him did I learn what had happened. I immediately contacted the kindergarten. Unfortunately, the teacher's response was disappointing — she dismissed the incident as “just typical roughhousing between kids,” did not take it seriously, and explicitly warned us not to contact the other child's parents.

We felt completely unsupported and left alone. The seriousness of the incident was downplayed, and no real steps were taken to ensure such behavior wouldn't happen again. There seemed to be no real understanding of how to handle bullying or emotional safety in such a young age group.

I have attempted several times to leave a review on Google, but none of my comments were ever published, which makes me question whether the school is actively managing public feedback.

It is unacceptable that a so-called international school allows bullying to happen — and even more unacceptable that it is ignored.

I cannot recommend this school to other parents.
