It was perfectly fine. We were picked up, left the airport within 5 minutes, 5 minutes later we arrived at the car hire place. The pick up process was smooth but REMEMBER they don't accept AmEx! Nikos... See more

A bunch of crooks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO THE POLICE.
Someone drove into the back of me. I called the rental office and followed all of their direction and advice. When I got back, they charged me for the damage. Even though they will receive the cost of the damage through their insurance. So they just made an extra 300 euros and then advised they’ll be taking it out of my 1000 deposit despite charging me separately for the damage. They had no legal basis to charge me for the damage. I will be reporting them to the police.
Even without the above I wouldn’t use them. Horrid delays in being picked up, made to wait outside to collect my car for over an hour.
We were told all the ‘ cheaper ‘ cars were not available so given a premier car which , once we drove off then showed an engine light, oil light, the energy assistance feature in the car kept going off whilst driving. It was also filthy inside.
Oh and let’s not forget they tried to charge me for a full tank of petrol, thankfully I had a photograph of the fuel level before I left and they then agreed not to charge me.
They’re stealing from tourists and preying on the supposed ignorance of their customers.
Avoid at all costs.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Mr. Basili! He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the very beginning. The shuttle service was excellent, and he made everything easy and comfortable for us.
What made the experience even better was that he took the time to recommend some of the best places to visit and gave us really helpful local tips. Thanks to his recommendations, we discovered some beautiful spots we probably wouldn’t have found otherwise.
Mr. Basili is a genuinely kind and helpful person who really cares about his guests. We truly appreciated his hospitality and would absolutely recommend him and his service to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much, Mr. Basili! 😊🇬🇷

Unfriendly staff. Huge wait for the bus. Unclear conditions and prices that vary from when you call them to when you get there and have no choice. Stay away.

Amazing People, Especially Raymond and Fatime, both helped me so well, first Rajmond with his discounts when picking car up and then Fatime when I was in bad private situation and had to hand keys back bit later, great customer service and looking at client as a human not number. Highly recommend ❤️

I strongly recommend that anyone considering hiring a car from Surprice Mobility thinks very carefully before doing so. My experience has been absolutely appalling, and I believe their damage-charging process is deeply concering.
I hired a car from Surprice Mobility at Bari Airport for a family holiday. The vehicle already had numerous areas of existing damage when I collected it. I was required to sign an iPad multiple times during collection and was not provided with the completed documentation that I was signing.
I returned the vehicle after the holiday in the same condition in which I had collected it.
After returning the car, Surprice alleged that I had caused a scratch to the left front bumper and proceeded to retain my €900 security deposit, while also taking a further €321.99 from my credit card.
That is a total claim of €1,221.99.
I immediately disputed the charge and asked Surprice to provide evidence showing that this damage was not already present when I collected the vehicle.
Their response is particularly concerning.
Surprice has admitted in writing that they do not have any time-stamped photographs or video showing the vehicle immediately before I collected it.
They also confirmed that there is no repair invoice or work order for the alleged damage. Instead, they rely on their own internal "Damage Matrix" to determine the amount they charge customers.
Recording a scratch when a vehicle is returned does not prove when that scratch occurred or who caused it.
What I find particularly unacceptable is the signing process. I was repeatedly asked to sign an iPad without being given the completed documentation to read or retain. Surprice now relies heavily upon those electronically signed documents when defending the charge.
When I challenged the €1,221.99 claim, I expected a proper investigation and clear evidence establishing that I had caused the damage. Instead, I was repeatedly told that it was my responsibility to prove that the damage was pre-existing, despite Surprice being the company responsible for documenting and inspecting its vehicles.
I have now had to raise a formal dispute with my credit card provider and my excess insurance company in an attempt to recover money that I believe has been wrongly taken from me.
My biggest concern;
If a rental company routinely charges customers for alleged damage using a predetermined Damage Matrix, while not retaining contemporaneous photographs of the vehicle at collection and without producing actual repair invoices, it raises very serious questions about how customers are expected to protect themselves.
If customers are genuinely being charged for damage and those vehicles are subsequently repaired, why are there not proper repair records? And if these vehicles are inspected so thoroughly at return, why is the condition at collection not documented with the same level of evidence?
I cannot speak for other customers, but having experienced this process myself, I am extremely concerned about it.
This has caused me a huge amount of unnecessary stress following what should have been an enjoyable family holiday.
For me, this has been an extremely unpleasant experience from start to finish. I will never use Surprice Mobility again.
Total scam operation, avoid at all costs.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - LEFT STRANDED WITH A 6-MONTH-OLD BABY IN RIGA
We booked a car with Surprice at Riga Airport through Carjet to drive to Tartu, Estonia.
On arrival, we were DENIED the car because my husband's name was not physically printed on the credit card. On Carjet, where we booked and paid, this requirement was NOWHERE to be found. On your own website it was.
We proved in our banking app that the card belongs to him, with his full name and all the proof. The employee was extremely rude, arrogant and unhelpful. His only "solution" was to charge us 200€ extra.
He refused to give us any written document explaining the reason for the denial so we could claim with the broker, and refused to let us speak to a manager.
You left us stranded in a foreign country, without speaking the language, without a car, and with a 6-month-old baby. We had to find at the last minute how to get to another country.
Never again. The worst rental experience of my life.

Booked a VW Polo or similar for pick-up at Tirana Airport. Pick-up took 1 hour 45 minutes, most of it spent waiting in SurPrice's uncovered, sun-exposed car park in 36°C heat — I was heat-exhausted by the end of it. I was told the car I'd booked hadn't been returned, and there was no backup. Then, after all that waiting, I was handed a Ford Fiesta that had been parked in the same car park the entire time — clearly set aside, not genuinely unavailable.
While I waited, I watched other customers coming and going for pick-up and drop-off. Almost every one of them looked just as frustrated and disappointed as I was — this clearly isn't an isolated bad day; it's how they consistently operate.
The car itself was old and worn: no Bluetooth, a broken USB port, no AUX, non-functioning powered mirrors I had to force by hand, and it made concerning mechanical noises throughout the drive that made me question whether it was even safe. By the time I was offered it, I was in no state to reject it — I just needed to get out of the heat.
Raised this formally with evidence and was met with a scripted denial, then a second dismissal claiming "no downgrade" and "no mechanical faults," directly contradicting everything I experienced. No accountability, no resolution offered.
This isn't a one-off — plenty of other reviews describe the same pattern of old vehicles, low fuel, and desk-level denial when things go wrong. If you're renting through SurPrice in Tirana, inspect the car thoroughly before accepting it and don't expect any goodwill if something's wrong.

One of the worst customer experiences we have ever had. Left waiting at Bari Airport for over an hour in extreme heat with two young children, and repeatedly told the shuttle was “five minutes away”.
When it came to securing a deposit, Surprice rejected multiple valid credit cards in my name, debit card, cash, Apple Pay and AMEX, despite our bank confirming there was no issue with our cards or pin numbers. We were told we could either leave without the car and lose our original payment, or pay an additional €900 non-refundable charge with our AMEX!!!!!
When we challenged this absurd cost whilst saying "I thought you didn't take AMEX", the aggressive woman running the franchise told us: “Here, we follow my rules.”
We were left stranded on a remote piece of wasteland with our children and luggage in 35 degrees heat.
Two other customers were experiencing the same treatment in their office and only afterwards did we discover the appalling online ratings and reviews describing remarkably similar experiences.
Please read and take onboard the reviews before ever thinking of booking.
