Measurement, and experience so far
I’ve only just placed my order, so I can only speak to my experience using the site so far. Overall, the process was smooth, and I really enjoyed selecting the fabric and style. There were plenty of great options, and I was very happy with the selection available. Love that there's a wide leg option!
That said, I did run into a bit of confusion in the measurement section. There wasn’t an option to input hip measurements, only waist and stomach, which didn’t quite work for me since - like many woman - my hips are a significantly different size from the rest of my midsection. I would think a company designing suits for woman would account for this. I also noticed there was no inseam measurement, only outer leg length, which made me a little unsure about how the pants will fit.
Additionally, it would have been helpful to have a space for notes. I had originally planned to wear heels with the suit and wanted to mention that so the pant length could be adjusted accordingly. It’s not a major issue, as I’ve since decided on flats, but it would still be a useful feature.
Overall, a positive experience so far, with just a few small improvements that could make the process even better.

The Sumissura team has been extremely responsive to my questions and excellent at crafting the clothes I ordered over the past two years, going the extra mile to ensure my complete satisfaction. I’m very happy with the clothes custom-made for me by Sumissura and plan to order more. The lookbooks with details on the fabrics in the photos are extremely helpful. I have ordered several blazers in colour/fabric combinations I would not have been able to find in stores. Swatches are available for many of the fabrics. I haven’t yet needed to order any before selecting fabric but may do so for some future items. TIP: the detailed information on each fabric specifies, among other things, the weight of the fabric - pay attention to the weight to ensure you don’t select a fabric too light for winter or too heavy for summer. The website navigation/structure could be improved, but overall, I am delighted with Sumissura.

Please thank the person who made my work suit, it is absolutely perfect.
Now for the review, the buying process was simple, I even made a mistake of selecting a navy fabric instead of black. The system gives you 24 hours to redo. I was able to rectify this online very easily without having to reach out for support. The quality and workmanship is outstanding. It’s so nice to have easy access to tailored clothes that fit properly.

The first blazer i had made was too small so i remeasured and ordered new blazer but i had a hard time trying to navigate the site for the new order. I think this next blazer will fit.

My New Go To
Great customer service and excellent tailoring within promised timeframe. Because I lost weight I did have to take my trousers in just because my measurements for the hips is so crazy. The Tailor that I selected could not believe that the suit was tailor-made and that they only asked me a few questions about my measurements, he cannot believe the price and how well made the suit was. He kept asking me questions about the company and I finally had to show him the app. I just ordered my second suit. And dress shirts I’m 6’2 and I’m so excited to have suits with the trousers long enough and the jacket sleeves long even when I’ve been my arms😄

Blazer did not fit and could not get through to anyone to assist. WILL NOT ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN and I advise that no one else use them. Customer service is absolutely a ZERO!!!

Tailor made pants at a reasonable price. Choose fabric and styles and enter measurements. The AI assistant helps with the measurements and suggests lengths- which were spot on. Easy to use. The quality of the first pair I received is excellent and fits well. However, I can’t seem to find the re-order button - keep having to go through the full selection process each time. Apparently it’s there- I just can’t find it.

I returned a pair of trousers because…
I returned a pair of trousers because they were not the correct measurements. They were incredibly mis-sized. The front hung half way down to my knees and the back side was extremely baggy. I was asked to send pictures which I did. The trousers were returned for correction over a month ago and I have had no communication with your company. I do however have confirmation that the pictures and the trousers were received. Terrible customer service. Lack of communication. Totally unprofessional. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

What concerns me most is reading that you have not received updates from us for over a month — that lack of communication is understandably very frustrating.
After checking the reference you shared, it appears your alteration unfortunately coincided with the holiday break of several of our tailors, which has caused delays in some ongoing adjustments. That said, we absolutely should have communicated more proactively with you during this time, and I sincerely apologize for that.
I’m going to personally review the status of your trousers right away and contact the tailoring team to get a clear update on your correction so we can move this forward as quickly as possible.

Overall I love them
Overall I love them. Sure, the website still needs some work to become more user-friendly, but I've always managed to place my orders and got what I had wanted. The shirts I got last time fit like a glove, the pants still needed some help but customer service made sure to honor the fit guarantee. Just placed the third order and as a tall woman I'm more and more convinced that it's so worth the money to end up with clothing that actually fits.

Positive outcome
I ordered a formal dress for a wedding, as I generally can’t buy off the rack due to my height. I was also recovering from surgery at the time, so I reached out to ask about the appropriate timeframe for having a dress made. Jonathan, the Customer Service Manager, responded promptly and was very helpful in guiding me through the process.
Unfortunately, the first dress did not fit well. The team quickly offered to remake it, which I appreciated. However, the second dress still wasn’t quite right, and by then it was too close to the wedding to allow for further adjustments. Although they were willing to remake the dress again, it wouldn’t have arrived in time for the event.
Naturally, I was disappointed that the fit couldn’t be resolved as hoped, especially given the occasion and the time constraints. That said, I was genuinely impressed with the level of communication and care shown throughout. Jonathan and his team stayed in regular contact, checked in consistently, and treated me with respect and understanding.
In the end, I was provided with a refund, and while the final outcome wasn’t ideal in terms of the dress itself, I was satisfied with how the situation was handled and the professionalism shown throughout the process.
