Excellent customer service, well informed members of staff, smooth and efficient online portal to upload documents.

After a bad experience with Gatehouse, we turned to StrideUp. We should have just started with them, and we intend to use them in the future, insh'Allah, when we intend to move on from the property we are currently purchasing.

It has been less than a week, and we have already been blown away with the support, care, and professionalism that we have received.

The initial process was simple and offered confirmation of appointment, which was much better than being left in the dark and waiting for a call day in and day out.

After explaining our circumstances, we managed to get an earlier appointment. The support team is exemplary, and I cannot thank them enough for their patience and understanding, especially considering I am too Type-A for my own good! Monsur was one step ahead of me and managed to sort out our interview, within which he was extremely thorough, clear and knowledgeable.

Monsur was exceptional. I immediately felt at ease, and he was outstanding in helping us speed our process up and catch up to where we should be by now. It felt extremely reassuring to be in touch with someone genuine who understands our faith and culture, and used terminology which was reassuring and easy to understand.

We look forward to the coming journey with StrideUp.

I’ve just had my advice meeting with Monsur and couldn’t be more impressed. He was highly professional, clearly knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through every aspect of the process. He made sure I understood all the options available, explaining the pros and cons in a way that was easy to follow, and helped me choose the product that best suited my situation.

There were a few unexpected technical issues on my side on the day, however, Monsur handled this with perseverance and professionalism, adapting as needed and still managing to complete everything within the appointment time without cutting corners. Overall, a smooth, reassuring experience — credit to both Monsur and the wider StrideUp team.

As soon as our offer had been accepted and we got in touch with StrideUp, everything has been so smooth and easy! The online portal is also amazing and a really useful tool where you can view and do a lot of things like update your DIP, submit properties, book calls and view your documents.
And even before we had an offer accepted, having the live chat on the website and someone always available to answer our many questions was really useful too.
We have had a few main contacts during the process, Mohammed, the Senior advisor was amazing on an hour long phone call with us, explaining the whole process and each part of the HPP with us. We've also had Sarah and Paul via email, updating us and staying in contact / answering questions. I literally have no complaints! Timescales have been fast, process has been easy and staff have been helpful. Also happy with the rate and the length of the HPP we have, too, thanks to the advice from Mohammed.

I've been working with Monsur on agreeing a Home Purchase Plan, and I genuinely couldn't have asked for better support. He went above and beyond throughout what can be a daunting and complex journey. Monsur's friendly and knowledgeable approach, coupled with his patience in explaining every aspect, made a significant difference.

Mortgages are a major commitment, and in my case, navigating a Shariah-compliant plan added an extra layer of nuance. Despite this, Monsur and the team at Stride Up provided exceptional clarity and transparency. Stride Up’s online platform is refreshingly intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to track progress and find key information. However, one suggestion for improvement would be to make access to important documents a bit more straightforward—for example, I often found it hard to locate my key files on the portal. Additionally, refining some of the documentation—particularly the Risk and Features Statement—could help avoid any potential misunderstandings.

Our journey with StrideUp was refreshingly straightforward—entirely managed online and over the phone. With just a few clicks on their portal to upload documents and some phone conversations with their advisers, we were well on our way to finalizing our agreement.

📧 Their communication was consistent and clear throughout, with regular email updates and responses to queries typically within 24 hours.

🖥️ That said, there are a couple of things worth noting. While the online system works smoothly, their portal could benefit from a bit more refinement. The process involves several steps, and once a step is completed, documents are often generated for download. If missed, there’s no intuitive way to go back and retrieve them. Fortunately, their web chat team is incredibly responsive—I was able to get what I needed within minutes.

📞 Another thing to consider: phone calls require all applicants to be present on speakerphone. This setup works fine for families living together, but if applicants are in separate households... well, it might require some creative coordination—perhaps a good old-fashioned conference call?

✅Overall, I’d definitely recommend StrideUp to those looking to get onto the property ladder in a way that respects their religious values. While the cost may be slightly higher than a conventional mortgage, that’s not the reason you choose them in the first place. With more customers coming aboard, I’m confident StrideUp will become even more competitive on rates in the future.

Excellent Experience with StrideUp Home Purchase Plan (HPP) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m very satisfied with the services provided by StrideUp for their Home Purchase Plan (HPP).

First and foremost, they are certified Shariah-compliant, and the certificate is easily downloadable — which gives a great sense of comfort and confidence from a religious perspective. This was extremely important to me, and StrideUp handled it with full transparency.

I don’t have a strong background in finance, but the team made the entire journey incredibly smooth and easy to understand. They explained everything clearly, without using complicated jargon, and were always polite, professional, and cooperative.

My initial assessment was conducted by Monsur Hossain, and the detailed follow-up was with Bhavita Patel. Both were outstanding — very knowledgeable, professional, polite and respectful. They broke down all the key information into simple terms, which made me feel even more confident and comfortable about the decision.
