This was my first visit to Porsche…
This was my first visit to Porsche Centre Nottingham for a Summer Health Check on my much-loved Gen 2 Boxster, and I wanted to leave a special mention for Charlie, the Service Apprentice who looked after me.
Charlie was professional, friendly and completely natural throughout the whole visit. She made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived, kept me informed, and her enthusiasm for both the role and the Porsche brand really shone through.
She is a real credit to Porsche Centre Nottingham, and I’m sure she has a fantastic career ahead of her.
Thank you, Charlie, for making my first visit such a positive experience.
A special thank you also to Lesley, a wonderful host, for making my visit to Porsche Centre Nottingham today such a memorable experience. Her warm welcome, genuine hospitality, delicious BLT and endless refreshments made me feel like I’d been transported to Stuttgart!

Communication is poor
Communication is poor, pricing inconsistent, very disappointing. If only an appropriate person would take a call. We buy a porsche because we seek high quality, this needs to be reflected in the service we receive from the dealership.

FAULTY PANORAMIC ROOF
I wanted to update my previous review regarding my panoramic roof, which unexpectedly shattered.
The day after I left my review, I finally received a phone call from someone who introduced himself as after sales manager Nei……. This was only after I had spent a long time chasing Porsche for a response.
The outcome of that call was unbelievable. I was told that because they carried out the work last year, they accept no responsibility whatsoever—even though this was clearly an underlying issue with the car and, in my opinion, Porsche should have repaired it free of charge.
To make matters worse, after sales manager Nei…. told me over the phone that I would have to pay £1,935, and Porsche would “pay half so we’re both happy.” When I asked him to put that offer in writing, he immediately went silent.
Since then, I’ve repeatedly called the dealership, only to be told, “He’s not at his desk, he’ll call you back.” Unsurprisingly, that call has never come.
All I’m asking for is a simple email or letter confirming exactly what I was told over the phone. If you’re happy to ask a customer to pay nearly £2,000 for something relating to work your dealership carried out last year, why won’t you put it in writing?
The complete lack of accountability, communication, and professionalism has been shocking. Being ignored, passed around, and ghosted by a premium dealership is unacceptable.
I expected far better customer service from Porsche. Instead, I’ve experienced excuses, broken promises, and a complete refusal to stand behind the work carried out. This has been one of the worst dealership experiences I’ve ever had, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone.
This is not the end of this matter. I will continue to pursue it until Porsche takes responsibility and resolves it properly.
If Porsche continues to ignore me and refuses to deal with this fairly, I will have no option but to take legal action. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to fight this hard just to get an honest answer and a written response confirming what I was told over the phone.
I’m extremely disappointed that a premium brand has treated a loyal customer this way. I will continue to share my experience and take this as far as necessary until this issue is resolved.
