I've been with Stocktrades for about one year and have primarily been focused on their growth stocks analysis and recommendations. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for solid analysis and excellent recommendations with no hype.

This is not swing trading or momentum trading so if you're looking for something riskier you'll have to look elsewhere. This is solid analysis based on market fundamentals and trading experience where Stocktrades consistently cuts through the clutter to give you the information you need to make quality investment decisions.

To top it off, you get real service from real people who respond to inquiries quickly and thoroughly. There are glitzier websites out there, but if it's quality you're looking for, I highly recommend Stocktrades.

The team at StockTrades is amazing. Fast response to client questions, insightful information and research, and transparency throughout their reports. As an investor who's relatively green, they have been invaluable. I'm so grateful for all they do and in case you're wondering, they're definitely worth the money.

Great experience to help green people to start in the investing world. A little bit overwhelming at the begging for the amount of stocks stocktrades provide and hard to choose but after a while you start picking and guiding yourself on what you want to purchase with stocktrades analysts. Totally recommended

Joined the premium site, initially just as a “thank-you” for the great content on their Canadian focussed YouTube videos. I had made a few successful trades based on the ideas their well researched stock analysis provided that made my investment in their premium option “free”.

I am now using the tools on the premium site as part of my tool kit. As this site is one of the few that looks at Canadian stocks it is worth our support.

However, care needs to be used as the scanners do not use the full TSX (eg. Eit.un does not come up when looking for stock with dividends >10%), and the portfolios do not come with the theory of how they are formed.

Suggestions for portfolios: 1) a balanced retired portfolio focussed on monthly income and low volatility.
2) a momentum based portfolio for those that like to trade

Something needed for Canadian market: a portfolio tool that can access Canadian financial and brokerage firms as most of them have weak portfolio analysis tools. Eg., geographic, or industry analysis, or overlap analysis (correlation) esp. with ETF. Or portfolio performance.

Always timely information, also has a personal feel .

As a premium member, I get responses to my questions quickly. Also I'm able to learn from questions posted by fellow members. Also obtaining custom reports have been very helpful. These guys give you very details responses not just generalized statements. Very happy to be a part of this community.

Stocktrades is an excellent place to start. I researched several similar services and tried a couple of trail periods as well. When I tried Stocktrades I was happy to let them keep the money after the trial period because I believe their services are worth it. You have access to all of their suggested stocks in a variety of contexts, such as foundational, by risk tolerance, and weekly picks. They will also analyze your individual stock picks and answer general questions about the nuances of investing in our current markets.

I have been a part time investor for over 20 years while keeping the bulk of our portfolio with one of the major Canadian banks. After paying far too much in fees for below market returns, my wife and I decided to move all our investments to self directed and I am now managing the entire portfolio.
I do a lot of reading on investing and have been looking for good, unbiased advice to help me guide my investment decisions. I joined Stocktrades.ca premium in mid 2019 and enjoy reading what Dan and his team write. The website is updated constantly and the amount of email communication I receive from Dan is perfect. They do not have a website littered with annoying ads of any kind. I am so tired of other websites bombarding me with ads.
I am continually impressed with the results from the individual stocks and overall portfolio performance. My biggest regrets have been not trusting their recommendations on some of the bull list stocks and thinking I knew better with some other picks of my own!
Stocktrades.ca is now my #1 choice for my investing information.

My number one thing i like with stocktrades are the bull’s report on the premium end. Dan and Mat also answer a lot on the q&a part that i look and find helpful. This is my top 2 for me but there is much more to go threw.

I previously used 2 different stock advice services. Both cost far more than StockTrades and neither gave simple to follow and effective advice like StockTrades. My son posted a 116% return in the month of May 2020 for his TFSA, using the weekly Top 20 picks. IMO StockTrades is a great deal.

In the age of paid reviews, I'm a little hesitant to write this but what the heck!
I'm gonna be short here: what they promise they deliver.
If their promise is good enough for you - jump in!

StockTrades is very informative clear place to get stock information.
I have used their recommendations which have proved profitable.

Highly recommend using their services for your future financial sercurity.

tutorials are informative for new to stock trading people and good for investors that may not have a full grasp of picking stocks.

I've been with Dan and Matt for some time now, certainly long enough to know what to expect. They are geared towards the investor, rather than the day trader. Dan's reports - of which there are MANY - are all very good indeed. Unlike most of the high priced "gurus", all of whom want to fleece you out of your money by making ridiculous stock picks, these guys are the opposite. While they do recommend different stocks on a regular basis in all of their varied portfolios, the choice is always left up to the reader, as it should be. So if you are working a day job and wish to start a longer term investing portfolio, this might be right up your alley. One final thing....if you ever have a question, the answer is just an email away. They ALWAYS reply very promptly. That in itself is a rarity today.

For the price you pay, it truly is worth it.
The slight downside is the outdated UI.
That said, the service stocktrades provides is beyond helpful. For me personally, I love their portfolios and company research (you can request research on the company: health, growth, +/- , etc...)

Side note: I tried Montleyfool who charge way more for the service, and Motley had 90% the same suggestions as stocktrades.
