Avoid - unreliable, poor support.

Using the app since November 2022. Generally worked ok until the app was upgraded in May (only found out when asking for technical support due to sync function freezing - so poor comms there) Post upgrade - Iphone app started showing incorrect data. Support seemed helpful at first but didn't really resolve any issues. 4 weeks since any communication and then the desktop App threw a fatal error when updating to the latest version. Unable to restore to previous version using backups. I've been unable to resolve the issues so have ditched the app and moved elsewhere. Did persevere with stockmarketeye as a lot of time was invested in inputting all the data. Given the continuing issues it was just too difficult to continue using the app.

Great software, hindered by its 'New Look".

I've been a user since 2017 and StockmarketEye is a very useful and useable portfolio monitoring tool. Reasonably priced even after introducing its subscription model a few years ago. Originally a one man band, new ownership has shifted the feel a bit and the latest thematic makeover (5.7.0 on) has changed the original unfussy display formats for an ergonomically poorer experience that is fatiguing and more difficult to read. Functionality has also suffered lately with device synchronisation being lost ("back by end of quarter") and the Android and OS apps currently abandoned although being relaunched soon. I'm now a bit concerned about style overtaking usability, and development (bug fixing) being intolerably slow. The blog that used to invite user comments now combines "investment articles" and a development roadmap but with no user-base feedback invitation. Support is consistently swift and responsive (given international time differences) and as helpful as they can be and pleasant to deal with. Time will tell whether this remains the go-to option for portfolio monitoring.

For the moment

For the moment, the software does not update tickers anymore. at least the daily % change stays for EU and US market always 0%. Not reliable software and no great support at all - that is my own experience!

I installed this software

I installed this software

They said that if you did not want to sign up at the end you would still be able to use some features but not be able to add new portfoloios.

I found the software to be Ok but limited so decided simply to use the free version

They do not allow this - DONT download and waste your time
