Apologies for the contrast to the numerous glowing reviews, but our visit didn't quite meet expectations. We were placed in the bar section, and the service left much to be desired. The young woman who attended us seemed rather unhappy and lacked personable interaction. Having worked in hospitality myself, I know the importance of making eye contact. The lasagne was merely passable, and I was rather disappointed to be charged an extra £2.50 for a splash of soda in my already £7 white wine. Ultimately, I don't foresee a return visit.

Sorry to say,after so many good reviews,but my partner and myself,didnt have such a good experience.. We were seated in the bar area and the service was not brilliant,a very miserable looking girl took our order,no great personal contact..I have worked myself in hospitality and you have a least to make eye contact..The Lasagne was just average,and a little bit disgusted with an added amount of £2.50 for a dash of soda in my white wine,which was aeady priced at £7..all in all will not be visiting again

What a fabulous little taverna. Having read some Google reviews and looking for somewhere with good atmosphere and food we decided to book whilst visiting Nantwich. Wowser - excellent food, generous portions and amazing service. Left very happy (very full!) and planning another visit!
