I’ve been a member of Stitch for almost a year now and it has been a positive experience. Everyone I’ve met has been friendly, welcoming, and inclusive, which makes it so easy to join in and feel comfortable.
The range of events is fantastic — everything from coffee catch-ups, dinners, movies, and theatre outings through to walking groups, hiking, and so much more. There really is something for everyone, no matter your interests.
It’s a wonderful way to meet new people, try new activities, and stay socially connected. I would highly recommend Stitch to anyone looking to expand their social circle and enjoy new experiences with genuinely lovely people

I joined for a month and quit
I joined for a month and quit. I asked that they remove all my information including my credit card number. They emailed me to say they had. Months later I am still getting emails and messages from members, I just found out I can still log in to my account and there my picture is along with my history. I have now demanded they do what they promised had been done and send me one last email from the founder that it had been done. LIARS.
ADDED- After reading the reply from Andrew, I stand by what I wrote above. Had he read what I wrote he would have seen that I contacted Stitch directly to end my membership and delete my information. They did not. And, I don't appreciate your implication that I am too dumb to end my membership.

Hi Bill, if you hit the "Delete account" button then all your information definitely gets deleted, as it's done automatically by the system. I can't comment without knowing the specifics of your account, but sometimes members inadvertently create two accounts using different email addresses, which can cause some confusion like this when only one gets deleted. If you reach out to Stitch Support and explain the situation, they will investigate and ensure that everything is fully deleted for you. Apologies for the inconvenience. Regards, Andrew from Stitch

All I was saying is that I don't have any way to look you up in the system, as Trustpilot keeps the identity of reviewers anonymous. There are sometimes reasons why someone may think their information hasn't been deleted properly, so we sometimes need some extra assistance from the member in question to help us chase down these issues. It's all about community
Since joining Stitch, I have met some wonderful people and formed good friendships through attending events,
Some of the events organised such as dance classes and Pickle Ball,have taken me out of my comfort zone and helped me develop new skills in a fun supportive environment.
I recommend all my friends to join.

Stitch has changed my life.
I have made lifelong friends through Stitch. I joined a year after my husband passed and I needed more friends because my closest friend was disabled and housebound. I was looking for people to do fun things with and I found them!! Last year I got really sick and was hospitalized, my Stitch friends stepped up and took care of my pets and helped immensely while I was recovering, taking me to Dr. Appointments, bringing me food, visiting, and generally being very good friends.

If you're a Limited member you won't be able to send unsolicited messages to other members yet (which is why you may feel you're not getting answers), but if you come along to an in-person activity, you'll see that all the local members are very real, and extremely welcoming!
Easy going - no pressure Stitch
Stitch is such an easy no pressure group with so many friendly and kindly people!
You can see who is going to the functions or events prior to attending so there no surprises and you get to go to amazing venues.

Fun and Safe
I love that people are verified first and foremost. This organization has opened up my social calendar, allowing me to meet new people in fun situations, to enjoy outings with others who have the some of the same interests, and to expand my interests by meeting a diversity of people I might otherwise not meet. You can enjoy as much or as little as you choose.

Stitch is a great program to bring people together to socialise, build friendships, and just try out new activities and experiences that you might not have done before.
Friendly, welcoming, people within a safe and securely built framework. A great way to stay socially connected for the older generation.

Love the choice of in-person or virtual events
Love the choice of in-person or virtual ways to get to know people. Stitch has provided a way to meet and mingle with folks in my immediate area through in-person events. Plus, I chat with folks all over the world .. people who I would have never met without this forum. It is easy to navigate and I feel safe here. Everyone I have met here has been friendly and helpful.
