Poor quality for a premium price
The quality of the dresses from this business is really poor. You pay a premium price and receive garments that are poorly sized and in a very cheap material. Refunds are not an option because they want to give you in-store credits to buy more of their poor quality stock.
Don't get caught in their credit cycle
I agree with Elisha Woods (previous review). I have had the same experience. Poor quality fabrics and stitching. Stuck in a cycle where I can't get a refund and have credit that I have to use on another poor quality purchase on which I have to pay postage. Again, the product is poor and doesn't fit- return for ANOTHER credit... and so we go on. Wore a red dress three times and the colour is fading in patches. Avoid buying from St Frock.
St Frock is the worst online retailerI…
St Frock is the worst online retailer I have even had the misfortune of purchasing from.
The quality of the clothing is absolute rubbish, sizing is way off and they refuse to refund purchases. Only store credit. So you are stuck in a cycle of returning, using your store credit to buy another piece of rubbish, and having to return that, again, for store credit. There is nothing I want from that store, so they have effectively stolen my money.
They also say you have 30 days to return - unfortunately this means from date of purchase, not date or parcel receipt. So if you live rurally, and your parcel takes more than a week to arrive, you only have a couple of weeks to make sure you get the return in. There is absolutely no leeway with any of these policies, they do not care as they already have your money.
With the abundance of wonderful online shopping in 2026, it is only a matter of time before St Frock either goes under, or changes their archaic policies.
Don’t purchase from them.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service , especially if something goes wrong. My dress literally fell apart after 2 wears & they would not even look at my claim. Tried to sell me a new dress instead. I would never purchase anything from this company again.
Be aware of this business!!
Be aware of this business!!!
I returned my purchase as I could not zipp it, let alone wear it. They sent me an email that returned dress has anodour. Absolute lie!
First, I dont wear parfume or stink of odour of any kind. Second, you sent me dress which was already returned.
Very disrespectfull and shifty business
Terribly cheap and nasty clothing - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Terribly cheap and nasty clothing. I purchased two dresses for $49.90 each and of course I returned them and I won't be received my money back but a gift card that I will never use.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST - DO NOT SHOP AT ST FROCK
There are plenty more shops that sell good quality products and offer a proper refund/return.
Temu Quality
I ordered a dress that was fine and ended up returning it for store credit which was fine because I knew their return policy ahead of time. Purchased another dress for 95$ and it was a dress clearly of temu quality. Made from the cheapest polyester known to man. It had loose threads everywhere and a hole in the belt of the dress. After back and fourth I was not given a refund but store credit again. I think some things on this website might be legit but there are other items that are clearly a scam. Steer clear of St Frock.
Not what it used to be
The quality has gone downhill over the past 2 years. The sizing is rarely accurate and the shapes and fabric are not as well made as the once were - I’ve sent three orders back in a row now…(about to send back my third). Due to the way the business is set up I can’t get a refund - just keep getting back store credit to try to get something nice that fits properly….
I’m only leaving one star as I’m unable…
I’m only leaving one star as I’m unable to leave zero! Don’t believe any of the 5 star reviews on here, they’re as fake as the business is! Completely overpriced clothing with absolutely awful quality, and they refuse to give refunds!! Any company that operates solely online with no way to try clothing on and then refuses refunds is obviously dodgy and I wish I’d realised this before purchasing!! You get stuck with a store credit for a shop you don’t wish to shop at, they then ship you AWFUL quality clothing with lose stitching and just worse than SHEIN material and refuse to refund on faults as you purchased with a credit! 😡 save your money and your sanity and purchase elsewhere, honestly even SHEIN and temu are better than these scam artists!!!
I just received my order from St Frock…
I just received my order from St Frock and the shipping was quick and I live in SW Qld so excellent shipping... However, some of the clothing is poorly made & I got a midi shirt dress and it had already been worn and it had a burnt iron mark on it also it smelled of someones perfume!! I payed $250 & they are way to expensive for these Dresses and I am quite disappointed with the cheap and nasty materials on some of the Dresses..I WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM ST FROCK EVER AGAIN AND I will be reporting them to ACCC If I do not get some sort of compensation for the burt dress!! Buyer be aware!! It's basically a hit & miss with the clothing! Listen up ST Frock your days of ripping honest Australian customers off count your days as this is disgusting behavior from an online boutique!!!
Terrible customer service & poor quality clothes
I have been a customer of St Frock for over a decade and have generally been pretty happy. For me to now feel it’s important to write a review to warn other people about their product and customer service, you’ll expect it must have been a pretty awful experience. And it was.
I ordered 3 items in my last order. They all fit and I was happy with them all, so I removed the tags and washed them ready to wear. When I tried to wear 2 of the items, a top and a dress, they had shrunk in the wash and no longer fit (the other was fine). I contacted customer care to ask what to do, as I wasn’t sure how to return the items given the tags had been cut off. What has ensued since is over a week of back and forth with them refusing to help me. I was told to iron the items and that would fix them - it didn’t. I was then told I had to measure the items and send the measurements and photos back to them. I said that’s fine but I don’t have a tape measure so would need to be a ruler, and would do my best. No response. I sent the images the next day. Their next email told me they couldn’t see from the pictures what I had measured (?!) and to write back and tell them the measurements I took. I did that. Then they emailed back saying they couldn’t see the measurements in the photos (?!) and I’d need to do it again.
At this point I told them not to forget it. It was very clear they were just kicking the can down the road and refusing to take responsibility for their faulty clothes.
I recognise that for the price you pay, these clothes are going to be pretty low quality. And that’s okay. But if the clothes are faulty as in this case, you would expect the company to try and rectify the issue by providing a replacement (if they are adamant this isn’t usually an issue with the product, as is the case here) or a refund.
I definitely will not be shopping at St Frock again and I’d caution others too. There are plenty of reasonably priced stores with far superior customer service that would be grateful for your business.
Low quality
I’ve only bought one dress, but material and make feels cheap, almost like something you get from shein, considering the prices I would not buy from them again, just to receive shein quality clothes.
Such a terrible company
Such a terrible company. I was sent a faulty item, sent the item back for a refund and they have had the item for 2 weeks still no refund. Have to keep chasing up. Avoid this company.
Above and Beyond
I needed my dress shipped straight away for a wedding that weekend. They were amazing and got it in the post that day for me. Great service.
THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN…
THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN REPORTED TO THE ACCC, ALL THE FAKE REVIEWS DISCRACEFUL WHICH I FELL FOR! THE QUALITY IS THE WORSE I HAVE EVER SEEN, SEE THROUGH, WRONG SIZING, WRONG COLOURS!! THEY DONT RESPOND TO EMAILS!! JUST TERRIBLE! HOPEFULLY WILL BE SHUT DOWN SOON...
Stop with the fake reviews
Stop with the fake reviews. You're a scam and the ACCC need to shut down your website. You're fraudulent
Pushing store credit to make sales!
I gave 1 star because I am unable to give zero stars. But happy to keep 1 star because shipping is super fast.
However that's where it ends... I have purchased from this company on 3 occasions now and the quality and sizing of the clothing is honestly appauling.
I have always ordered two different sizes and measured myself against the sizing guides, only to be thoroughly disappointed when items arrived.
Nothing ever suits me or fits according to the measurements.
And don't get me started on the fabrics!
I got store credit on 2 occasions and they expired without me being notified.
It is beyond me how a company who sells the same quality as Shein and NOT offer refunds, especially when you can't try on the clothes.
The way this company operates screams unethical and I believe they only stay in business because they keep money from customers and force the store credit policy and have influencers flaunting their product online with fake reviews.
I tried reaching out to customer service and expressed that I would prefer not to have a store credit this time, only to have recieved a generic copy and paste response.
I AM forced to now take this further to get my money back.
I have also contacted Klara, because I was smarter this time, I didn't pay up front in fear I would lose more money.
Do not purchase.
Support companies like Showpo, Shein, PLT and Boohoo rather than this greedy company.
Do NOT buy from this company
Do NOT buy from this company. I cannot believe the 5 star reviews on here. I ordered quite a few items and am extremely disappointed in the quality. The material is thin, rough and see through. It’s like ordering Shein products with a massive mark up.
