I had excellent support and guidance throughout the process of deciding what iMac to get and subsequently throughout the ordering and delivery process. Replies to Email enquiries was almost instant I highly recommend this company to anyone considering purchasing an Apple Mac.

In search for a specific iMac built-to-order configuration that wasn't readily available in Germany I came across SteadyComps. They were able to provide the exact configuration that I needed, and fast. Stephen was super friendly and responsive, I had a few questions regarding post-Brexit necessities which Stephen could swiftly clarify in a phone call.

Some info for all EU buyers: Turns out ordering from the UK post-Brexit is rather painless, especially for companies or sole traders. Customs duties for computers (into Germany) seem to be 0%, at least that was the case with my iMac. In Germany, upon arrival of the shipment, you will pay import tax which you can offset with your sales tax (VAT) burden if you are a free trader or firm, so that amounts to zero as well. (Depending on your carrier, you might have to pay that tax in advance in cash at the doorstep. If you have a "EORI" no. with German customs authority and you pre-authorise your carrier such as DHL to take care of it, they'll send you a bill later on and that's that.)

Excellent service and patience from Stephen Forbes. I am a Windows user who was looking to step into Mac ownership for music production. As I am inexperienced with computers, Stephen was able to assist with my requirements and always responded patiently and professionally to my email questions. Being able to also install Windows on my new machine was an added bonus. It was suggested by a colleague about the Mac Mini PC. In the past it was always wish of me to buy a Mac PC which has stable operating system as well it has limited virus risk.

When searching for options of the Mac mini, I came on the website of Steady Comps Ltd. As I’m living outside UK (Holland) I did not know Steady Comps before, however I was intrigued by something which was completely new for me: Mac running Windows 10. As I have been Windows user for more than 20 years, this option sounds fabulous to me. I asked Stephen many questions, and he came around with very clear technical answers. I switched my idea from Mac Mini to the more powerful iMac 27”.

My experience with Stephen was exceeding my expectations. I have to say, the reviews I found on Trustpilot were excellent! It gives me a feeling of trust. I have to say that all reviews are 100% in line with my own experience. He was always helping me to get everything working and was even giving advice on side issues like cleaning sets and protecting the iMac for optimum user experience.

If you look for service level from decent times, with state of the art technology, you should definitely buy a Mac computer from Stephen.

Very happy with service provided by Stephen at Steady Comps. It's not easy running a small business at the best of times, and Brexit has brought a raft of unwanted complexities. You know what you are getting when you buy Apple-what you don't get is the personal touch and instant response to queries that Stephen gives you.
If you are in the market for a new Mac, look no further.

I was not keen or comfortable spending vast amounts of money on a new computer - especially at this time of the Pandemic. However Stephen was swift to respond to my queries and from the feedback I had read, his company looked safe! I have been very happy with the service I have got before, during and since I have received my new laptop. I will be happy to contact him again if I have issues as he is swift to reply and no question is deemed stupid (even when it is!!). I would have no problem recommending Steady Comps.

I had a great experience with Steve at Steady Computers, he has more patience than most as i'm in my mid 60's and not very good with new stuff. I waited right to receiving my last bits before writing this so as I could be sure I was giving you the right information!
I got the best price that I could find and got a great spec machine for a fantastic price. I was kept well informed from beginning to end. If your looking for good old fashion service and value look no further that Steady Computers.

The customer service was excellent and I was kept informed and up to date with regards to my order. The item purchased was shipped abroad and I had no issues with this, especially surrounding brexit. I would highly recommend.

Shopping at Steady Comps has been a very enjoyable experience. Although they are no longer in the European Community, there is no problem when shopping with them.
Stephen Forbes is a very nice person to deal with, he is always attentive to the mail and ready to help you with any problem you may have. I can confirm this because I have had several queries with him, not due to hardware issues, but due to my lack of experience, and he has always helped me, and found a way to resolve them.

I have to say that these guys, Stephen Forbes to be exact have just provided me with one of the best services I’ve ever experienced. I’m based in Liverpool and the guys were able to have the computer with me near 3 weeks before the expected date. The extras included were top notch to and arrived with in expected time as well. Stephen was able to have this computer set up and running remotely for me in no time. I really can’t express enough my gratitude with this company. It was a massive investment purchase and these guys made us feel reassured and confident through every process to the completed final product. If only every company took a leaf or a lesson from this crowd . I highly recommend and will in future for any computer needs will be going straight back to them .

Post sales support excellent - especially as I had dropped a clanger in transferring data to the new machine and mucked things up a bit! All sorted very efficiently and quickly.

Excellent service from advice pre purchase (no hard sell) to follow up and support after - always responds very quickly to any queries. Stephen gave honest advice about configuring the Imac to my requirements. It seemed to me a great deal with the loaded licensed software and extra hardware supplied as compared to buying just an Imac directly from Apple. Having the Windows pre loaded is a definite bonus. Would certainly buy again even just for the advice and support after. Recommend 100 per cent.

Really pleasant experience with the whole process. In my case I had already purchased a MacBook through Apple but Stephen arranged to get the wraparound package and Virtual Operating Systems installed remotely (especially helpful in these times). Effortless from start to finish, I would highly recommend this service to any prospective buyer.

My old iMac dated back to 2009 so it was overdue an update, but with the replacement model costing more than 2 grand, I was keen to get good advice and have the reassurance of personal attention, if needed.

I am pleased to have bought a new 27" model from Steady Comps (August 2020) and so far it has proved to be an easy and and reassuring transaction. The machine arrived within 24 hours of placing the order(!!) and retailer Stephen Forbes was very helpful with telephone advice, in remotely configuring the system and setting up the extra software (Windows 10 and Microsoft Office). The Plus Pack of DVD player and SSHD external back-up disc took 10 days to arrive, but that was the only minor downside.

Would I recommend Steady Comps? Yes definitely - my experience with them has been prompt, personal and knowledgeable service and the promise of help at the end of a telephone, should it be needed.
