No coverage for unforeseeable death on cruise ship

Our NCL cruise ship cancelled the stop at Eden due to a departure delay caused by a passenger death before we left port. The cancellation was less than 24 hours before the Tour from Eden to Merimbula Wetlands Wildlife and Coastline was to begin. Navigate Expeditions refused to refund our payment and we lost $766.72 for 4 guests. They suggested our insurance would cover this expense but Squremouth / TinLeg did not. TinLeg said 'The reason for the loss is not a covered Unforeseen Event' and we ate the $766.72. If my wife or I died, it would be covered. Since an unrelated passenger died, Tin Leg had a hole in their coverage allowing them to deny payment. We thought Squremouth / TinLeg was reputable and we were protected but this was not the case. This complaint forwarded to the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS).

Great travel insurance website

Very easy to use online program. The website shows multiple options, and some at a better rate than the company's direct website. We will keep using this website for travel insurance.

Second time I've used square mouth for…

Second time I've used square mouth for travel so easy to compare policies and was able to do it for another couple that are traveling with us!! Extremely pleased with Ease in which you can navigate the website and complete the purchase!!
