Frygtelig kundeservice - vil ikke tage ansvar (Dansk & Engelsk)

Jeg ville holde mig væk fra dette firma - deres kundeservice er forfærdelig! Jeg føler, at jeg er blevet snydt.

Jeg købte et premium sæt justerbare håndvægte med et stativ til hjemmetræning, i håb om at hjælpe mig med at genoprette min kondition efter lang tids sygdom. Da de ankom, viste de sig at have virkelig mærkelige vægtindstillinger (2-4-8-12 osv.), hvilket ikke stod på listen, men som gør dem upraktiske at træne med (de fleste mennesker har brug for intervaller på 2 kg). Stativet var super-wobbly, gjorde mig virkelig utilpas sikkerhedsmæssigt. Og også et af håndtagene var beskadiget og meget svært at dreje.

Det ville have været én ting, men at forsøge at returnere varen for at få pengene tilbage har været et mareridt. De nægtede selv at organisere returneringen og insisterede på, at det ville være billigere, hvis jeg gjorde det (jeg var skeptisk...). Jeg bruger evigheder på at få tilbud, billigste er stadig over 2000kr (for en 5000kr vare!). De sendte det til mig gratis, så jeg havde aldrig forestillet mig, at dette ville være et problem. Jeg går tilbage og udfordrer dem, og pludselig kan de tilbyde fragt for kun 1000kr.

Men de insisterer stadig på, at jeg skal betale returfragt, fordi de foretrækker at 'løse problemet' ved blot at sende et nyt håndtag. Selvom det kun ville løse et ud af de tre problemer. I skrivende stund ser det ud til, at jeg bliver nødt til at bede forbrugerbeskyttelse om hjælp til at få mine penge tilbage. Jeg kunne virkelig have undværet denne hovedpine!

Hele kundeserviceoplevelsen har været super uvenlig. Jeg har forsøgt flere gange at ringe til deres telefonlinje i kontortiden, men ingen tager nogensinde op. Svarene på mine e-mails er fulde af manipulerende adfærd – ignorerer dele af det, jeg siger, forsøger at fordreje mine ord og insisterer på ting, der så viser sig at være usande. Jeg føler meget, at de bare spiller taktik, prøver at slide mig op og få mig til at opgive at returnere varen. Frygtelig, stressende oplevelse.

Jeg vil råde dig til at holde dig væk, især ved store indkøb. Det viser sig, at det kan være meget dyrt at returnere store, tunge genstande som privatperson, selvom de ikke har opkrævet noget for at sende det til dig. Så sidder du i bund og grund fast med dit dårlige køb, selvom du i princippet har ret til refusion. Sportgymbutiken virker ikke særlig interesseret i at advare deres kunder om dette lille problem, før du køber...

I'd stay away from this company - their customer service is awful! I feel like I've been conned.

I bought a premium set of adjustable dumbbells with a stand for home workouts, hoping to help me recover my fitness after a long illness. When they arrived they turned out to have really weird weight settings (2-4-8-12 etc), which wasn't stated on the listing, but makes them impractical to train with (most people need 2kg increments). Stand was super-wobbly, made me really uncomfortable safety wise. And also one of the handles was damaged and very hard to turn.

That would have been one thing, but trying to return the item for a refund has been a nightmare. They refused to organize the return themselves, and insisted it would be cheaper if I did it (I was skeptical...). I spend ages getting quotes, cheapest is still over 2000kr (for a 5000kr item!). They shipped it to me for free, so I never imagined this would be a problem. I go back and challenge them, and suddenly they can offer shipping for only 1000kr.

But they still insist I have to pay return shipping, because they prefer to 'fix the issue' by just sending a new handle. Even though that would only address one out of the three problems. At the time of writing, it's looking like I'm going to have to ask consumer protection for help to get my money back. I really could have done without this headache!

The whole customer service experience has been super unfriendly. I've tried multiple times to call their phone line during office hours, but nobody ever picks up. The replies to my emails are full of manipulative behaviour - ignoring parts of what I say, trying to twist my words, and insisting on things that then turn out to be untrue. I very much feel like they're just playing tactics, trying to wear me out and get me to give up on returning the item. Horrible, stressful experience.

I'd advise staying away, especially for any large purchases. It turns out that returning big, heavy items as a private individual can be very expensive, even if they didn't charge you anything to ship it to you. Then you're essentially stuck with your bad purchase, even if you're entitled to a refund in principle. Sportgymbutiken don't seem terribly interested in warning their customers about this little issue before you purchase...

Shady - wouldn't trust this place

They did nothing about my order for a week
(website says delivery is 1-3 business days) and I wrote to cancel the order, when I realized the price I had paid was for 1 dumbbell and not 2 (and thus not a competitive price AT ALL. The price is around twice the amount I paid from a shop that send it to me quickly). Suddenly they have time to care about my order and the next day I receive an email, that the package had allegedly been shipped 23 minutes before I cancelled. No help to be had. I got nothing but a bill for freight back out of this interaction.

Wouldn't trust this place (and their response has not changed my opinion).

Vi beklagar att detta blev en olägenhet för dig. Eftersom att ordern var skickad är detta inte att bektrakta som något annat än en vanlig ångerorder där kunden står för frakten.
Vi bad dig även att ta emot paketet och sedan returnera det levererade paketet med en retursedel vi skickade till dig för att få ned returkostnaden, som annars blir högre från transportör när kunder helt vägrar ta emot sina paket som du gjorde.
Ett annat alternativ vore förstås även att om du hade tagit emot paketet, och sedan köpt frakt som privatperson kunde kanske varit billigare för dig än vår prislista hos speditören.

Du borde också rimligen ha noterat att vi har faktiskt gjort en kompromiss med returfrakten som är 20 % lägre på din faktura, än det belopp jag tidigare uppgett i mejlkontakt att det skulle kosta och varav den senare är den verkliga kostnaden från din ort till oss (där den ursprungliga fraktkostnad ut till dig givetvis är borträknad), alltså har kostnaden från vår sida varit 150 % högre än det vi har debiterat dig.


Vi har agerat helt i enligt med dansk köplag så det blir ett väldigt märkligt påstående att vi inte skulle vara tillförlitliga när vi uppfyller kraven.

We apologize that this was an inconvenience for you. Since the order was sent, this is not to be regarded as anything other than a normal return order where the customer is responsible for the return freight.
We also asked you to accept the package and then return the delivered package with a return slip you'd been given to reduce the return cost, which otherwise will be higher from the carrier when customers completely refuse their packages the way you did instead of temporary accepting them.
Another option would of course had beenthat if you had received the package and bought shipping as a private person it might have been cheaper for you, instead of our price list at the forwarder.

You should also have noted that we have indeed compromised on the return shipping cost which is 20 % less on your invoice, than the amount I earlier provided you in email, and the latter of which is the actual cost from your location to us (where the original shipping cost to you is of course excluded), so the total shipping cost for us has been 150 % higher than what we have charged you.


We have acted completely in accordance with the Danish sales law, so it would be a very strange claim to say that we would not be reliable for fulfilling those requirements.

Absolutely 100% recommended

I ordered a Bioforce Extreme home-gym. It was packaged and sent to me within about 2 days. Wasn't expecting it to be so fast. The gym was well packaged and exceeded my expectations. It is brilliant. Am using it every day. Highly recommend Sportgymbutiken and Bioforce gym equipment.

Pretty satisfied

Pretty satisfied, fast shipping, the spinning bike is great, the quality of it looks ok for now, we will see in next few days when i test it more properly.
Only thing missing is the level of intensity cause you have a manual knob which is i think for most of the home bikes same.

The products arrived sooner than I…

The products arrived sooner than I expected and the customer service was pleasant.

For some reason the reimbursement on a canceled order was less than the order cost initially.

The repayment of the wrong order that was not on export was refunded from KLARNA and is probably cause of the difference is the exchange rate between SEK and EUR, which is updated in real time.
