Excellent company they went to no end to help me out on a part that had been discontinued and delivered the part required. Can’t thank them enough and their hard work 10-10 definitely recommend

Type r fn2 exhaust purchased feb 2023.
Stated on advert it did not come with gaskets so purchased separately.
Delivery was quick, packaging was fine and fitment on car good.
Exhaust tone and pitch very different from standard, higher pitched and raspier.
Great product for the money and quality of product seemed fine to me.

I ordered a full exhaust system for my mk6 fiesta zetec s and i received a phone call off one of the staff members the same day, saying he was running some personal errands and was in my local area today. He dropped the exhaust off within a couple of hours. It didnt come with any brackets or hangers but i have just fitted it today and it sounds unreal. Would highly recommend if youre not looking to spend £500+ on a cobra sports exhaust.

Terrible customer service the discriptions on the website are so vague in terms of what will directly fit your car ordered down pipes to fit one of there exhausts I already have no mention that you need to bodge a reducer in between but they seem to think it's exceptable to say a 1 3/4 inch downpipe will fit a 2 inch exhaust not properly it won't but apparently if I send them back at my expense I can have a partial refund what a joke update had to open a pay pal dispute and on returning the item that I didn't even attempt to fit they claimed I'd sent a used part back to them to try and get out of refunding me

Awful, awful exhausts, if you're after pure sound then yeah they're OK as they sound quite decent, but that's where the good points end. They're made of cheap, paper thin steel that rusts and corrodes the moment you put on the car, NO CLAMPS are included with your order which is not mentioned anywhere on their website, they'll also send out parts that don't fit your car, customer service is absolutely none existent, I've emailed repeatedly my issues, requested refunds, nothing. Do not buy from these guys, spend a bit more and go stainless steel. Lesson learned.

TERRIBLE ALL ROUND. Terrible customer service, doesn't reply to emails or order notes until weeks pass. Dispatch takes over two weeks if you're lucky. The exhaust you order isn't what you get and doesn't straight fit as you'd expect. Had to have pipes cut, buy reducer pipes from ebay, cut connection arms, weld and reposition as nothing fitted or sat right even though the exhaust was advertised to fit my vehicle. Once I payed for all the above I must say I'm happy with the exhaust but I'd have been better just buying a universal exhaust since it all had to be custom fit anyhow, and wish I'd have read reviews before I'd ordered. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS JOKER unless you're happy to pay for extra labour, parts and wait weeks upon weeks between purchase n delivery.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service was called a liar and that I knew nothing about cars the hung up on me I brought a back box for my vw lupo and it caused running problems and when fitted. And ran fine when taken off. Had to scrap the car due to the problems caused by there exhaust and get another car. They then told me I just wanted my money back as I was scrapping the car the car but there product was clearly faulty. Was told it wasn’t there exhaust that was the problem and must of been something else but it was the only part fitted. His wife also joined in saying she heard the conversation but then told my partner that I was lying and then she said she hadn’t heard all the conversation. Stay away from this company and there other two sister company’s ulter sports exhaust and aktiv preformance

Car failed mot because of emissions , had to take the backbox off thats only about 3 months old to put the old part on to get car through mot , passed mot no problem after that . Wouldn't recommend rusty after 3 months only and covered only around 1000 miles with it on . Not much of a sound difference if anything atall so a complete waste of money

Ordered an exhaust from them turned up almost 2 weeks after the estimated delivery time. Company wouldn't respond to emails. Exhaust arrived damaged and with no fitting kit. And to top it all off the flange on the exhaust was welded about 45 degrees out so it had no chance of fitting. After ringing and sending clear pictures via email showing the angle of the original exhaust against the one they supplied they were still making excuses for it. Disgusted with the customer service I have received I am now £220 out of pocket and stuck with and exhaust that doesnt fit.

I had a change of mind and returned a micra exhaust. No refund was issued I chased this after 6 weeks. 

I was told I couldn't be heard on phone but also then had whole sentences I'd said repeated back to me. The tone was "we don't do sports exhausts for Nissan micras!" as if they were above these cars and had made an unprofessional negative judgment about me. k11 micra boxes are advertised on their (Sportex) website and I bought one. 

Basically the member of staff made me feel taunted/ antagonised and as if I was lying. He reasonably requested I find my tracking proof. I told him I didn't have any post office receipts saved which was true I then remembered I'd used a parcel company and dropped it at my friends shop to be picked up by ups I believe. The tracking showed it had been delivered back to aktiv performance. I then received an email from the same staff member saying sorry we can't find it so basically suggesting "tough luck" . The exhaust cost me about 110 plus postage and I was also keen to get across that I had read their t and c's and was happy to lose a percentage due to unwanted item. I would be very cautious dealing with this company particularly with a certain member of staff. The exhaust they sent looked fantastic. Their customer service by this particular man was and continues to be unsatisfactory. No money has been refunded. I also asked about an exhaust for Jaguar x type 2.1 but I've had a hand made one done locally for £396 and its wonderful. With activ/ Ulter/ Sportex Direct I got the feeling I would have been treated better if I'd been asking about one of my previous cars- Audi tt classic mini Cooper BMW mini etc.

I ordered a back box for my car on the 25th July to find out they didnt have the one i wanted in stock due to covid and the factory being closed, which was understandable. 30th July, Mark got back to me and offered another Back box which was lovely of him. That was out of my budget so I asked if they had another one in stock on the 4th August. Faffed about a bit to eventually pick out another Back Box. I did have to wait a couple of weeks for the factory to reopen and I did have to write a couple of emails to get a reply. Understand if they are busy and all. I just wanted to take some time to thank Mark for doing his absolute best with everything. I'm super excited to know that my order will be posted to me very shortly. The only down side is how long communication took, giving near to a week for an email back each time (assumed they're very busy/dont check emails often), however reading reviews about poor customer service before I ordered I was prepared, so just keep on top of it, and chase them up!

Exhaust turned up today and was well packed and appears well made and its painted well
They did answer the phone on Friday and lady was very pleasant
I would give five stars but other than Friday communication was non existent

Don’t use these lowlife chancers if you like quick delivery’s,still waiting after 12 days for pipe, they use Parcelforce who like to blame the other depots useless stay away

Ordered new back box with middle pipe £175 .. ebay stated 3-5 Working days it’s now been 11 days .. what a ruddy joke I want my money back

Ordered a backbox from these a while back. Came on time and all but had a few scratches. Wanted to find out if their race tubes would fit my car so spent a week trying to call them. Emailed them and messaged them on Ebay. Not a single answer or response. Well looks like I'll take my money elsewhere.

I have been wanting 1 of these for years simply because it was a direct replacement. I eventually got 1 for my birthday and just got round to fitting it. I was absolutely gutted when I drove my car. I was expecting to hear a nice deep note however this sounds like a wet hiss. Convinced I had a leak in a joint ( I had replaced middle and front pipe aswell) it took me ages to find that the actual back box has a leak in the seem and or a weld. (Noticed by blocking the end of the back box and water started bubbling out of the horizontal seem). The workmanship is a disgrace. (My nephew could have welded it better with a soldering iron!) Yes, it arrived in a heavy duty bin bag with a good inch size bit if paint scraped/chipped off. If I had known that I was to replace my front and middle pipe I would rather have gone and got a custom built cat back for probably the same money.

Exhaust system was thrown in a bag and subsequently damaged in transit, the seller sent me this message "Hi,The manufacturer takes no care to prevent the paint from being scratched because the paint will burn off the majority of the system within a few hours of running it on the car.. It is the aluminization process that protects the exhaust from corrosion, and not the paint..The item is only painted to prevent the non aluminized parts (the welds, flanges and hangers) from oxidizing whilst the exhaust is in storage/transit..The tailpipe is wrapped because the manufacturer understands that the tailpipe is the visible part when fitted on the car, and that does need to be perfect.. I am happy to receive the exhaust for refund, but I regret I cannot offer a replacement, because they all have scratches on them...

So to summarise they take no care to package the exhaust as it will rust anyway so damage is Ok.

Mine had scrapes to the box seams, scratches all over the exhaust, the only part they wrapped was the tip.
If you value how your car looks from underneath please please pay the extra and buy a stainless exhaust at least they will care about wrapping it so you receive what they have carefully built.

They also no longer offer manifolds for any vehicle where the manifold is visible in the engine bay what does that tell you?

AVOID BUYING SPORTEX EXHAUSTS.......UNLESS YOUR HAPPY WITH CHEAP TAT THAT IS.

Bought a exhaust backbox about 2.5 - 3 yrs ago from them for £130ish 4" oval tip the box has been fine for about 2 yrs and the tip and silencer are still in good order but the pipe that joins the silencer the center section has rusted 1/3 of the way through.
Looks like they made a descent-ish box but used poor cheap pipe for the joint to the rest of the system, I'm not happy and won't be buying from them again.

i ordered a straight through system for my 206 gti but still not recieved it yet. i cnt get anybody on the phone. was told by seller they get bk to me with tracking but nothing. parcelforce cnt trace me on their system. i dnt know where it is i cnt trace it. i cnt get my car thru its mot cos its not here. wish i knew the warehouse it came from and a number
