Horrible and horrendous company to deal with

Having the worst experience ever with this gps provider. The device is causing a fuse to blow, the fuse that controls heat and hazard controls. Trying to get someone to help has been awful. I’ve had a couple people just blow me off and others to continue to give me the run around. At this point I don’t even want the vehicle anymore. I’ve been dealing with this since the beginning of December, it’ll be March soon.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. So, gps transponder went bad so we had to get it replaced. We got it replaced and this is where everything went down hill. First they wouldn’t talk to me because my husband was the main person. Then when that was fixed they still never got the transponder updated to the new one. Notes weren’t updated, talked to multiple people and I don’t think they know anything. Finally had to call the dealership that we bought it from and they were finally able to escalate it up the chain for us. Finally got updated about 2 months of calling about everyday and having to restate each time what was going on. So if you get LoJack know that you will be dealing with this company and they pretty much suck because as I am typing this their stuff is down and showing me out of state.

70% fail rate for GPS installations

70% fail rate for GPS installations. I sit on the chat everyday waiting for a rep for 30 mins - 2 and a half hours. This has been my experience for 3 months now. It has effected our business and we are losing $$$ from it. Zero accountability and unreliable company.

Dead Spireon/Lojack GPS device after 3 months

Purchased a Spireon/Lojack GPS tracking device for my new car. Within 3 months the device stopped working. Called Spireon customer service 3 different times and was told that they sent a 'remote' reboot and the device should start working in a few hours. The device has not worked in over 7 months. I was told that they would elevate the service, but nothing happened. When I emailed customer service, they told me I needed to stop contacting them as they were aware of my units problem. It has been 3 months since this email, and no contact what soever from Sperion. I spent hundreds of dollars on the device and tracking service. DO NOT purchase a Spireon/Lojack GPS tracking device. The company and product is absolute garbage.

I’m unable to give a zero star review

I’m unable to give a zero star review. Otherwise I would be. Their contractor showed up without calling ahead to let us know the arrival time. Then he proceeded to speak and act very unprofessionally. We waited 12 days for them to send an installer and then he ended up leaving without doing the work. His name is David so if you have an install scheduled with this person tell them no thank you. I will be using another company from this day forward.

This company is impossible to get ahold of. One of my units went down in the fleet and that's how I track the employee's time. I've been trying to contact them for four days by phone and email. They never answer or respond. I'm so pissed off I can barely see straight.

Ineffective support services

I renew the subscription on Dec 15th 2023 for two years. Three months later I am still waiting for my service to be reactivated. The first issue is to reach the customer service team, very difficult. Once I finally managed to communicate with them, we went back and forth as they tried to solve the problem. The issue was escalated to a tier two team, I got an email saying that problem was resolved, but I was not. I sent emails, no response. As of today (+3 months) I am still trying to get the problem solved.

Worst company ever

End up with 80 non working devices out of 200. Customer service is absolutely no help. I lost 4 trailers due to their faulty equipment just for 1 year with potential for over 80 pieces of equipment to be lost. They cost us over $100,000 in losses so far and lost days of my time in sending reports back and forward pretending they are working on the issue but with no results. Not a single device replaced or even be able to stop monthly charges for. We are switching to a different vendor as far as we are expending and can't afford such a poor tracking software

Awful Service, Rude Reps

If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Awful service. Very rude team. Tier I Representative Christian A. Balbuena closed my case, but never helped me reach a resolution. His attitude was sub-par, his service was worse, and I still need help.

Lo Jack Go impropoerly Splicedin Wiring Harness Causing Electrical Problems

With in 3 days of driving the vehicle all dash indicator lights came one. The check engine light, the abs light, the emergency brake light, the traction light, the tire pressure sensor light, the power steering light. These light come on and off randomly sometimes they stay on for days and some time they come on and off several times in one day. On August 9th the car was services at A-1 Auto (See attached text message) and a claim to Silverrock was done. A-1 Auto basically charged $110 to do nothing as the light came back on the very next day on August 10th 2023. I was told by A-1 Auto it was a Kia issue and to take the car to a Kia Dealership so I made an appointment that day for Sept 2nd 2023 that was the soonest they could get the car in to be diagnosed (See attached apt confirmation).

On September 2, 2023 I had the car diagnosed at Shawnee Mission Kia. After 4 hours of trying to find out what was wrong with the vehicle the Certified Mechanics at Shawnee Mission Kia discovered an aftermarket device AKA the lo-jack go GPS device was spliced into the wiring harness of the vehicle and was causing all of the electrical issues on the vehicle. Drivetime Gladstore was notified on Sept 2nd by telephone of the issue. Drivetime on Gladstone was notified again on September 5th of the issue and I was told I would get a call back within 24-48 hours. I received no phone call back at all. I had to call Drivetime Gladstone again on Sept 8th 2023.

Today is September 11, 2023 and Drivetime, Lo Jack Go, Sperion, Bridgecrest still have no definite answers of how they are going to rectify this issue. Kia has recommended the device be removed and the vehicle be brought back to Kia for retesting and possible repairs (See attached service report from KIA). Drivetime, Sperion, Lo Jack Go, Ridgecrest are refusing to remove the device so vehicle can be repaired by Kia. Kia will not repair the vehicle until the device is removed.

I was told by the manager at Drivetime Gladstone this issue is so rare he doesn't know how to deal with it and Drivetime has never experienced this before, A simple google search has yielded thousands of similar complaints and issues. So this issue isn't that rare it only took a 5 minute google search.

This issue needs to be immediately addressed and rectified. I expect to hear from a representative by end of business today. I expect this vehicle to be repaired properly with in 7 days. I will start legal procedures against all parties involved if this doesn't get addressed and resolved immediately. All back up including photos, text messages, and the Kia service report are attached to this email.

Their GPS tracking products do not…

Their GPS tracking products do not work. We have used them for years, have 100s of units from them, and started realizing about 80% of them end up failing. Their customer service doesn't care, and are useless overseas people.

DO NOT do business with this company

DO NOT do business with this company - I repeat, DO NOT do business with this company, they are a bunch of con-artist. I purchased the Lo/Jack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System with Early Warning for more than $995. Spireon purchased the Lo/Jack corporation through acquisition, and in doing so, it legally acquired all of Lo/Jack's assets including user agreements and contracts and became responsible for all aspects of its predecessor.

Under the terms of the user agreement for customers that purchased the Lo/Jack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System with Early Warning, post-installation inspection of the Lo/Jack unit is required to ensure continued functionality of the unit. In addition, Lo/Jack recommended that the vehicle owner have the Lo/Jack unit inspected every two (2) years to verify it is functioning properly. To do this, the consumer must arrange for a Lo/Jack trained technician to come out and perform a post-installation inspection.

When I attempted to schedule a post-installation inspection of my Lo/Jack, Spireon said, "oh, we don't do that anymore" - basically, instead of offering ANY assistance whatsoever, Spireon said, "good luck with your Lo/Jack system."

Not only is Spireon REQUIRED to service the Lo/Jack system that it acquired but also it has a contractual obligation to do so - and that includes sending out technicians for post-installation inspections, and the refusal to do so, is a breach of the user agreement and subject's SPIREON to legal liability. In any event, DO NOT do business with this Company or you will be sorry. They DO NOT stand behind their products.

Terrible customer service.

They have terrible customer service and threatened to sue if you wanted to alter the terms of service in terms of length or the amount of transponders you have. If they can charge you for something they will and again they will sue you out of your contract with them even if they can’t accommodate your needs.
