Lovely pub but turn the music down

Lovely pub, used to frequent regularly but recently they turn the music up so so loud it’s hard to have a conversation let alone think. Such a shame as was a regular venue for us to eat lunch.

If they make a mistake, they pass the problem onto you.

I ordered through just-eat.co.uk in advance for 18.50, but Spice of Life attempted delivery at 17.35 when I was still on the train on the way home and the delivery driver persisted on banging the door, scaring my almost 80-year-old mum who was unable to answer. Upon calling the restaurant, I was advised that they missed the fact that the order was for 18.50, apologised, and assured me they would make a fresh order again and deliver on time. "These things happen", I thought, happy with the explanation. The food finally arrived a little late at 19.05, none the less, we thanked and tipped the driver and settled in to enjoy the meal. Despite the assurances given, this was obviously the same food prepared an hour and a half ago which had been reheated. The pitta bread and chips had become soggy, the naan was rubbery, the meat was hard, dry and a chore to chew on. We ended up throwing it away and ordering a pizza from elsewhere. We'd ordered from Spice of Life before without any problems but it seems when one occurs, they don't seem to care, even when they were clearly at fault. Needless to say, we won’t be ordering from there again.
