The service of Sparkasse Hannover and Sparkasse is a joke. It's actually a lottery. It really depends who you get to talk on the phone. Some of their customer service agents are super unfriendly, borderline rude. They do NOTHING to help. Then you call another 5 times until you get lucky to find someone in a good mood that actually feel like doing their job.
All I wanted is to be able to use MY OWN money, and extend the transfer limit in my account. I had to call 5 times until someone actually helped. All the others were saying it's impossible or finding some excuse not to do it. Finally someone helped.
Further, the whole stress started because I called the bank a week before telling that I would need this limit extended. They told me to call again when the time comes. Today was the day to call and all the people that could help me were on vacations. The people who were suppose to "call me back" from the branch didn't care to call or answer me back, and no one was able to help on the phone. Ridiculous. Luckily that was my last interaction with sparkasse, because I already started the process to close the account.
