During our Christmas holiday trip to…

During our Christmas holiday trip to London, we dined at the Spaghetti House near Marble Arch and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff, particularly Ali, were both friendly and entertaining. The food was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless and charming. We wholeheartedly recommend this spot to others.

Terrible experience - Avoid this place

My experience at Spaghetti House Westfield was appalling. Host KARAM was rude and cold with no greeting or warmth. He dropped my food on the table without facing me, muttering “Here’s your linguine” completely unprofessional and dismissive. Felt passive-aggressive and borderline racist.

I was shocked to find a cover charge on my bill that no one mentioned beforehand. No one explained my dish or even offered basic courtesy. I voiced my concerns to another staff member who just shrugged it off. No accountability, no care.

Avoid this place if you value respectful service and transparency. I won’t be returning. Do better!

Just read all the one star reviews, you will understand what’s wrong there .

Let me start from the HR Generalist Ms Clara who thinks to be the Queen of disappointment, the most disgraceful person ever met in all my life, disrespect my request of support while I was in the need that some of those Head Office pseudo human beings completely ignoring the bullying behaviour from other mindless ignorants hired because in the need of staff.
The original owners had sold their business to this new organisation of nonsense evil minded, where waiters and managers have to cope all the duties for a miserable life and low salaries with no respect and by manipulating the service charge, zero customer service and the latest 5 stars are all paid and fake, the one star are all true and I can tell, I’ve been there, I fell sick by eating that washed pasta mixed with a bagged sauce, chefs are doing the easy life, while waiters must kill themselves for a ridiculous salary management included. Because I’ve been treated so badly from this Pseudo HR now she’s nominated Generalist.
I wished to give you minus 10 stars, because you are sat in the office not challenging the customers and running all day.
God is watching anyone, even if you are not believing, karma will give you what you deserve soon or later, I suggest you to repent for all the evil actions you’ve been doing to all the past people who tried to work with you.

Had lunch at Spaghetti House on Goodge…

Had lunch at Spaghetti House on Goodge Street 18 Jun 24 with an old work colleague. It was regular favourite when we worked round the corner 28 years ago. Surprised that we were the only people in the restaurant at peak lunch time. Ordered prawn and asparagus pasta, massively over-prices at £20+. My colleague had the same dish. Only difference was she had a regular latté after lunch and I had one with oat milk. I have been sick with food poisoning since Tuesday and am still feeling very unwell. My colleague was not ill. So it either the oat milk latte or my pasta dish was contaminated. I will not be returning.

Don't eat here if you are vegan, vegetarian or have anything but a cast iron stomach

Went to the Cranbourn Street branch. In advance when booking listed all the allergies and also that one guest (a child of nine) was a vegan. On arrival we ordered a pizza napoletana for the child who had some allergies and was vegan and another pizza for the child who was allergic to sesame, pistachios etc. The server returned with a list of ingredients - and - it seems that all the pizza dough contains sesame (one of the items listed on the booking as not being able to be eaten). So we decided to go for minestrone soup (listed as VG on the menu), plus chips (listed as V) and mixed salad items. The server then returned to say that there was cheese in the minestrone! How can that be listed as VG? I asked her to check. She then returned and confirmed there was cheese and also the soup was made with fish stock!!! I have tried to telephone Spaghetti House Head Office....but it appears the only number they give is in Hong Kong. Then we were told that the chips were fried in the same oil as the calamari. We gave up. Put on our coats and left. This is appalling. Are they aware they could cause really serious if not fatal health problems. I have patronized this chain for over 45 years. Never again.

Sad Haymarket London

Food was average to poor - the staff obviously wanted people who had only just been served to leave - by making as much noise as possible and turning up the deafening music! So sad we have had some really great meals in Spaghetti house. Poor show Haymarket!!

Served quickly and efficiently

Served quickly and efficiently , food was ok …… nothing special but when two of you eat for £60.00 you can’t expect too much. This was between Covent Garden and Leicester Square.

Very disappointed with service

Very disappointed with service. Watched people come and go before we got our meal. Needed to ask 3 times for water and again for food that was ordered and not delivered.

Spaghetti House Woodstock Street London excellent every time we have visited

We have been coming here for a few years when we are down in London. Always excellent quality food and fast service and friendly staff.

The last time I was here I had the fennel sausage and wild mushroom pizza and it was absolutely beautiful. Also the garlic bread is to die for.

Love the atmosphere in this place as it’s not too loud and you can actually hold a conversation with the person you are having your meal with, unlike some overly loud pubs/establishments.

We will definitely be popping back when we are down in London again next year.

Spaghetti House Goodge Street Restaurant

Goodge Street Restaurant. We ate there at lunch time today. Awful food and terrible service. They bought us water and no glasses, then garlic bread with no cheese. They forgot the Lasagna and, when it did arrive, it was a mushy inedible mess. When we said it was too salty, the waitress said, "We get that alot" and removed it from the bill. None of us would ever eat there again.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD

Despite the food itself being very nice, this was ruined by; 1. Extremely rude & pushy staff, making us feel so under pressure, it actually became so awkward, unpleasant & henceforth, unenjoyable to be there in the end, 2. Misled into purchasing water, for which at no point we were informed it would cost (as sometimes this can be complimentary, otherwise we wouldn’t have), 3. Insulted by having been - once again - un-informed of service charge(s) applied to our bill (no-where was this made obvious/clear to us again), for which was ironic given how EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with the service we were, by then, 4. In follow-up to our ordeal, the overall handling of trying to resolve our subsequent escalation of complaint to H/O, has been done EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONALLY and thus, further marred our already very unpleasant & stressful experience since, to make matters a whole lot worse (too many examples to mention on here!!!). With (all) this in mind, I/we sadly have no desire whatsoever to ever want to/visit & provide this chain with our/my business again... They have clearly failed in demonstrating any respect and sense of proper, professional customer-service to their customers in return and so I couldn’t ‘un-recommend’ them enough… a great shame. 😡🍝👎
