I've booked with Southall Travel on a number of occasions over the years, and they've never let me down. Their prices are always competitive, but what really sets them apart is the customer service.
On this occasion, Anmol has been outstanding from start to finish. He has been professional, responsive and incredibly helpful throughout the booking process. Every question has been answered promptly, and nothing has ever seemed too much trouble.
We're celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and returning to the same resort in the Maldives where we spent our honeymoon. Although complimentary upgrades can never be guaranteed, Anmol has gone out of his way to contact the airline and hotels on our behalf to see if there's anything they can do to make the trip even more special. That level of care and effort really means a lot.
What stands out most is that Anmol is not only excellent at his job but also comes across as a genuinely kind and caring person who wants his customers to have the best possible experience.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Southall Travel, and I'd like to thank Anmol personally for all of his hard work. It's service like this that keeps us coming back.

The travel agent let us down by failing…
The travel agent let us down by failing to properly deal with our luggage arrangements and provided no assistance in resolving the issue. We were left to sort everything out ourselves, which caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. We expected the travel agent to offer support and take responsibility for helping to resolve the problem, but this did not happen.

Upon reviewing the travel plan that was sent to you prior to confirming the booking, it was clearly mentioned that the allowance for checked baggage is zero pieces. After receiving your consent, the ticket was booked accordingly.
However, if you wish to add checked baggage, you can easily do so on the airline's website. If you encounter any problems, please feel free to contact the airline directly.
Please remember that the agent had informed you about the baggage allowance during the booking process.

We have booked with Southall Travel for the last five years and have generally trusted their service, which is why this recent experience has been so disappointing.
We booked a holiday to the Grand Hyatt Dubai approximately 11 months ago and were advised at the time that our booking included a complimentary upgrade to Half Board Plus, which we were told included a two-hour drinks package. At no point during the booking process were any restrictions or terms and conditions explained to us regarding this meal plan.
However, after contacting the hotel directly, we have now been informed that our booking only includes dinner with drinks between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. This is not what we were led to believe we had purchased when booking through Southall Travel.
Today, Ricky advised we booked in May this year and that he informed us of the discrepancy at the time of booking. He did not. Samarat booked our holiday as per the booking email and we had booked nearly 10 months ago. Clearly trying to avoid the situation.
We feel very misled, as no terms or limitations were ever made clear to us at the time of booking. We would not have proceeded under these assumptions had the correct information been provided.
We have raised this as a formal complaint and requested that it be escalated to a manager, but the response so far has been disappointing given our long-standing relationship with the company.
We are due to travel shortly and are now left extremely concerned about what we will actually receive on arrival.
We hope Southall Travel will urgently review this matter and resolve it fairly.
