I'm using SoundBetter for both artistic and technical aspects, collaborating with a session vocalist for a dance production and an engineer who mastered one of my remixes. The results so far are fantastic.

Absolute scam. I did the work, SoundBetter kept 100% of the money. I’m now out my time. Their customer service is slow and nonexistent. No sense of urgency to make it right with me. Endless emails with no action. Complete SCAM!

My experience with SoundBetter has been wonderful so far. I’ve connected with talented musicians, worked on some really exciting projects, and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow and collaborate here.

SoundBetter really needs to be updated and brought into the current era. It's very clumsy to communicate on the platform and job requests come through so very seldom, it makes it feel like the business doesn't really care about their customers. The option to upgrade is always a dead end, so I don't really see the purpose of the platform. It's sad because the idea is excellent, just needs strong execution.

I have not been paid from Soundbetter for 2 jobs that I completed. I have sent emails and they said it was a problem with my paypal account. I have received payments before no problem. I have since opened up a new account with paypal and when I tried to enter the new information on my Soundbetter account it comes up with error 500. After sending emails I did get an answer with suggestions on how to fix it but the problem is on their side. I feel like I'm getting the run around and disappointed with this company. I suggest not do business with this company and pass the word to anyone that is looking to offer their creative services.

I’m a seasoned professional drummer in Nashville. I’ve been on thousands of recordings yet can’t even “pay” to be a premium member so I can bid on projects so not thrilled about that.

The service works well other than not getting enough work through this. I’d prefer to deal with only SoundBetter but will still do fiverr etc until it’s worth it.
