Parts not in stock when the site says they are

I ordered an adapter for my daughter's car. Their website said the part was in stock and would ship in a day or 2. I waited 4 weeks before emailing them about the order. I received a reply at 1 am a couple of days later saying that it was back ordered due to supply chain issues. After 2 more weeks, I called in and canceled the order. I then ordered the same exact product from Crutchfield and had it in hand 2 days later. I won't waste my time with these guys ever again.

Thomas displayed great customer service…

Thomas displayed great customer service after I reached out by phone and requested that he verify a couple of items were in stock.
Sonic Electronics are lucky to have this man as a representative.
Thank you for helping me out and restoring my faith in sim simple human interactions! :)

Thomas did an excellent job

Thomas did an excellent job, he was patient and spent almost an hour on the phone with me helping make the right choices and even addressing some logistical concerns regarding delivery limitations. Great experience.

I tried to order speakers from this…

I tried to order speakers from this company 4 weeks ago so I could install them for a road trip that was 6 outs. The site said they were in stock. 4 weeks later, they have not shipped and they still aren't in stock. Customer service has been terrible. I've had to follow-up multiple times due to slow response time. I've cancelled my order and am waiting for confirmation that Sonic Electronix has done so. This was my first time shopping with them and I never will again.

They restored my faith in humanity.

The experience I had with this company single handedly saved my faith in humanity this month:)

In a word of frustrating AI help desks and intentionally endless holds for real people at customer service call centers, Sonic Electronix BROKE THE MOLD.

I ordered a box from them, and got it fast and at a good price. The website said it fit my vehicle, but during installation it was rubbing a bracket and wouldn't fit so the installer had to customize it slightly and charged me $100.

With one email with Joanna C. and one phone call with I believe Chris, they took care of me. Real people answering and treating you like a real person and they did the right thing and made me whole again. They refunded me the $100 to reimburse what it cost to get right and took pride in their products bc this was a fluke situation.

They could have said "not our problem" and lost a customer for life, but instead I'm here writing about how good it feels to have confidence in someone and to see people who care so much about the quality of their products and their company still!

The computer system specified the wrong…

The computer system specified the wrong speaker adapters which caused me to cancel installation after doors were off etc. Jessie was very helpful immediately sending out the correct adapters for no charge. Mistakes will always happen but it is people like Jessie who make it right.
