Solar Market - Get 3 Solar Quotes Reviews 

Once I requested 3 comparison quotes I recd 2 callsand quotes within 24hrs. 3rd contact recd within hrs after a reminder. however whilst receiving a call couldn't receive due to commitments and so todate no followup from me and so no quote received.
One point I would raise for you to consider is when quotes are being arranged to mention to the quoting solar company to ask if the customer wants purely a quote with low rated material or median or high as this gives both supplier and customer what he wants when considering.

I have had previous negative expereinces with sites like HiPages, where no businesses responseded until I lodged a complaint with teh site then after visisting to give a quote, I never got a quote, but I had exactly the opposite effect form Solar Market. At one point I was absolutely drowning in phonecalls and email from what has to be every single solar company in the solar system. You won't be short of options, ut the downside of that is thatit can be overwhelming. The good thing to note is that everyone who gave a quote was professional and courteous, they were all grossly consistent in their estimates and nobody was obviously price-gouging or drastically undercutting the price of the others. I don't know what is in it for the Solar Companies, but literally 2/3rds of them tried very hard to dissuade me from getting battery storage, even though I was actually keen to get that and as far as I can tell, the only result for them is me paying them more money. The prevailing theory seems to be that battery storage is currently too expensive and too inefficient, and that you won't ever make your money back off them before you have to replace them, but for me, I still think its a good option. Once I made that clear all the companies were happy enough to set me up with one. I did reach out to one company (MLEC) who were not suggested to me by Solar Market (recommended to me by a neighbour) and their agent came out to give a quote, as had other guys. Apart form the fact that he was one of the best looking dudes I ever met in my life, I felt he was doing the hard sell, really wanting me to sign up right there and then. Most of the people who ring you about solar when you use SolarMarket are definitely on the subcontinent in a call centre and the ones who just send you an email with a creepily current satellite photo of your house almost immediately I would tend to avoid. The companies who send a local from WA (be they born in Thailand, Brazil, Liverpool) gave very similar or slightly lower quotes but you could aske them as many questions as occurred to you any time you liked and they were happy to explain all the details. for my money the best visit was form a chap whose computer program (they basically all use the same algorithm to calculate how much you will save, it looks identical) could show me how much shade the trees on the crown land next to my house would cast on my roof. That really helped me with my understanding of where the panels should be, which was not accounted for in the "email only" quotes. In short you will get millions of calls, but go with a company who will send someone out to look at the actual house. Also, learn what single and triple phase meterboxes are!

I received one quotation very quickly, they explained everything I needed to know, with good follow up. The second quotation was about a week after my request to receive 3 quotations. I haven't had a 3rd quote as yet. As the first quote is very attractive I don't think we will be looking for the extra quote anyway.

Responses were quite prompt and I successfully contacted 4 providers to arrange solar system installation quotes.

Hard to rate as I received an email saying they weren't able to connect me with any installers in my area (a capital city). I obtained many quotes myself, so I am not sure why.
