I purchased two sets of festoon lights to decorate our house in December last year. The lights were defective as they were hardly ever lit and filled with water. Customer Service were appalling and even though I’d only had the lights for a couple of weeks refused to do anything about it. I now see several others have had similar issues. An expensive and frustrating experience. My order number is 13996 if you’ll let me have my money back for the defective lights. I was told I couldn’t send them back as I’d dared to use them! What a joke.

I bought some festoon outdoor garden lights last year, many are filled with water and no longer work. I cannot find any compatible bulbs anywhere else and I have just received a response from the company itself saying they don’t stock them and they haven’t been forthcoming about who does. Complete waste of money so go elsewhere

These are marketed as waterproof outdoor bulbs, yet within two months around 50% had failed. Several bulbs filled with rainwater and stopped working.

The seller dismissed it as “condensation,” which is hard to believe given the visible water levels inside the bulbs. Properly sealed outdoor lights should not fill with water and fail so quickly.

Very poor quality and disappointing after-sales support.

Sadly have sent numerous emails with regard to a remote control not working and received one response asking for photo. Sent this beginning of January and and further emails with no response...extremely disappointing.

As per their request sent details again and surprise surprise over 2 months on no response or resolution at all!! Avoid this company.

Ordered some fairy lights on 15th November promising shipping in 3-5 days and emailed on 26th to chase them up. On 27th Andrea in customer services assured me they had been “handed over to Royal Mail” (clearly untrue) with a tracking number that unfortunately related to a former order previously delivered. I wrote again, pointing this out to be told that an error had occurred and they could be dispatched next day, best they could do. In fact they cancelled the order with a huffy email. Their boast of fast free shipping UK is clearly untrue in my case and I find them both incompetent and unfriendly.

We’ve now purchased approximately 10 solar lights from Solar Garden Lights. They might cost a bit more, but the quality is on another level compared to other suppliers. We’ll continue buying without hesitation. A big thank you to Andrea in customer services for always replying promptly and resolving any queries. We wouldn’t choose any other company for solar lights.

Their lights are not fit for purpose. When you reach out to their customer service team, they reply back in a condescending tone talking to you like you are someone with no competence. I've sent numerous responses sending videos of the issue which is their side. They charge ridiculous amounts of money for solar lights so you would expect them to work but dont be fooled by the phrase "if its expensive it will last" as these lights lasted no longer than a day before their control box started not working. Poor attitude as a business which is in grained through every department. Save your money. Ive been exchanging messages with their customer "service" team for over a month with no resolution but that ive had the lights for 4 weeks so its now my problem.

I have purchased from Solar Garden Lights a few times and have always found the service to be excellent. I highly recommend them. The product quality is also very good.

Bought 2 products and very pleased with the lights and the quality of the material used. Very prompt with delivery.

Product did not work out the box.
No way to return other than contacting customer support.
Customer support assumed I wasn't using it correctly and sent instructions on how to do so.
This didn't help as the product was broken.
Customer support has ignored me since.

Awful,avoid this company,set up the new lights and 3 bulbs didn’t work so had to use the spares,3 mores lights have since stopped working.they only allow 15 days for returns,customer service is dire when they do eventually reply after some chasing,was offered more replacement bulbs but they haven’t sent them.

Water fountain arrived quickly, worked brilliant for a week then stopped. There is no way to contact the company to report it.
