After my sofa proved to tight to get up 2 flights of stairs, I contacted Sofa Assist.
I never knew such a company existed and contacted them. Even though it was Good Friday, I had immediate communication with them.
I was given a quote after sending some pictures. Which was less than I expected.
I recieved communication the day before of a time they would get to me as well as a message on the day.
They were extremely professional and quick. I cant praise the service enough and highly recommend them.
Finally a special thanks to the team who not only hoisted it up but set it up and put it where I wanted it to go. They did not leave until I was fully satisfied.

These guys are absolutely exceptional! We had a sofabed delivery from loaf and the delivery guys couldn't get it in, loaf suggested calling sofa assist and frank and his team were amazing. Phoned me straight back after emailing him images and came round about 2 hours later where they managed to get the sofa bed in no drama. They are very helpful and genuinely nice people, seriously thought i would be sending the sofa back!

Read the reviews, and believe every word: Frank and his team are out of this world. No problem (or sofa) is too big because they have a tremendous can-do approach. They saved us when our delivery people scratched their heads and said it couldn't be done. Guess what? It could, and at very short notice. The man is a miracle-worker and we can't recommend him too highly.

This is the second timer we have used Sofa Assist and would highly recommended. We have a narrow hall so we have to remove windows to get sofas in and out. It’s not cheap but it’s the only option and the service they offer is exceptional. Would use again.

Frank was an absolute star. I am so grateful for his help, efficiency and expertise. He answered his phone immediately even when it was late and always returns calls. Always willing to go the extra mile and find the most cost efficient option for moving a sofa.

He even helped with advice on how to dissemble other furniture which he really did not have to do. Such a wonderful service from his company and I cannot recommend him enough. I would definitely use them again. Thank you so much Frank for all your help.

I can't recommend Frank and Sofa Assist highly enough. Our new sofa bed couldn't be delivered to our third floor flat so the delivery company recommended Sofa Assist. Even though it was a Saturday, Frank responded immediately and came straight to us. Totally professional and very calm and reassuring, he came up with a solution and had the sofa in our flat in no time. What we thought would be a total nightmare, he solved with no fuss. A real pleasure to work with and a great guy too.

This morning we had a large 4-seater sofa delivered from John Lewis to our fourth-floor apartment. Unfortunately, the delivery team couldn’t fit it in the lift and left it at the bottom of the stairs. My wife and I somehow managed to wrestle it up four flights – only to discover it wouldn’t fit around the awkward turn in our hallway.

After 30 minutes of trying every possible angle and pivot imaginable, we were completely stuck and genuinely thought we’d have to return the sofa and buy something smaller.

I found Sofa Assist on Google and called straight away. Frank answered – incredibly friendly and calm – and immediately FaceTimed us to assess the situation. From there, he guided us step-by-step through a series of manoeuvres to get the sofa through the hallway and into the living room.

Honestly, I have no idea how he knew exactly what to do, especially remotely, but it worked. Absolute magic.

We didn’t even need a call-out in the end, but I would highly recommend Sofa Assist purely for Frank’s expertise, knowledge and willingness to help. He turned what was becoming a very stressful situation into a genuinely happy moment for us.

Just recently I contacted Frank at Sofa Assist, and he very kindly informed me of how my sofa could possibly be removed from my flat. I was pretty sure it was going to be a real mare of a job and was expecting all manner of complications to get it out of the building. SCS had someone dismantle a corner of the sofa to get it into the living room when I'd first purchased it.

After a few emails and when I was ready to risk accepting the job, Frank arranged to bring two of his team all the way to Portsmouth to move my settee. He told me when he was expecting to arrive, and was outside my flat pretty much on the dot.

When I saw the van they'd brought I thought "Oh my God the sofa won't fit in there!🤦" I was also expecting window panes to be removed. The guys shouted down to Frank which sized 'bag' they required...which I didn't understand at first.

Next thing they'd removed the feet of the settee and put it into a quilt type bag.

Before I knew it, they'd manoeuvred the sofa over to the doorway and after some clever communication between the two fellas, much to my utter shock, they'd popped the massive sofa into the hallway. I was gob smacked!

Next thing, a few minutes later, the sofa was out in the street next to the van. I thought, this is going to be the stumbling block...it's not going to fit the van!

Low and behold, a few seconds later the sofa is in the van and the doors were closed!

They followed my car to my new address a few miles away in Havant and I was expecting to hit problems getting the settee into the new property.

Within about 3 minutes, the sofa was in my front room and the guys were screwing the feet back on.

They made what I thought was going to be the mother of all jobs look like child's play.

I kid you not, the longest time taken with this operation was the traffic we hit between Cosham & the Hilsea Roundabout enroute to Havant.

I would say the whole removal job minus the road trip would have been about 20 minutes work by these professionals!

They'd arrived at my flat in Portsmouth at about 08.10 & the job was complete in Havant at around 08.50 and that's Including getting caught up in traffic.

I can't tell you how impressed I was at how good these blokes were, and highly recommended them and their expertise!

Initial inquiry promptly and helpfully handled. On delivery date, seamless coordination. Frank is a maestro. His team takes extraordinary care of customers’ interiors in the course of their work.

Our new Loaf sofa wouldn't fit through the hallway to get into its correct spot and Loaf recommended Frank to help move it. He turned up the same day, worked tirelessly to disassemble and reassemble a very complicated and heavy sofa bed. I thought we would have to send the sofa back but Frank literally saved the day. An incredible service. Thank you.

Sofa Assist were absolutely incredible when we were let down and put in a very stressful situation by DFS. We could not have been happier with the service. They responded quickly to emails and were very flexible around timing slots when we were getting messed around with information. In the morning we received a tracker to know where they were en route. Once here, they tried absolutely everything to get the sofa in even when the first plan of action was no good thanks to a bendy porch roof. They had a lot of kit in the van to solve the problems and we did eventually get it in the first living room using a rope from the top floor window and guys laying out from the balcony to catch it! They worked with the sofa delivery team to get the pieces in and were just wonderful. We are so thankful to them for helping us out and doing it with such kindness and patience. Cannot recommend them enough!

Frank and his team make the impossible possible! We had a large sofa bed from Loaf unable to fit through the door. Frank expertly managed to hoist it through our third floor window with ease. He was able to squeeze us in a few days after contacting him and is a wonderfully friendly man. Would highly recommend him and his incredible team!

I had a fantastic experience with Sofa Assist. Their service was efficient, professional, and very well organized, with excellent communication from start to finish. I emailed them late on Saturday night about moving a large cabinet from the ground floor to the first floor through a Juliet balcony door. Frank from Sofa Assist replied early Sunday morning, and by Monday at 7:15 am, the team arrived promptly at the address in Kent. By 7:35 am, the cabinet was safely in the first-floor living room, moved through the Juliet balcony without a single scratch or mark.
What impressed me most was how careful and respectful they were with the furniture and home, they took every precaution. They even helped put the sofa back in place afterwards, which was a thoughtful extra touch. I was also sent a link to track their journey to the address which gave us peace of mind. The whole process was quick, smooth, and stress-free thanks to their skill and teamwork.
A big thank you to Frank and his team for such reliable and highly efficient service. They went above and beyond, and it was worth every penny.!

Frank & his team were excellent! I was given Sofa assists number by the delivery team who brought in a Loaf sofa that wouldn't fit through the door down to the basement. I spoke with Frank on the phone who managed to fit me in the next day. On arrival the team looked at all options to find the best way to get the sofa downstairs - at one point it looked like it was going through the window but they managed it with very little disturbance! They were efficient, friendly and considerate and as much as the cost to get it sorted was a considerable expense on top of the sofa just purchased - those guys are worth their weight in gold !

The Sofa assist guys were professional, efficient and polite. Moved our sofa through a second floor window on a busy street calmly and quickly and saved us just as we were about to give up hope and return the sofa! Thank you so much

Frank and Aidan indeed were life savers. Bed wouldn't fit in the loft room, but with teams ingenuity they have managed to get it in and assisted to put it together as well. Very professional, kept us updated whilst on route to us. Very grateful and happy with the service.

Exceptional Service — Highly Recommended

Frank and his team, Adrian and Calen, did an outstanding job getting an extra-large 3-seater sofa through a very awkward stairway into our lounge. Our original delivery team could not manage it, but Frank and his crew handled the challenge professionally and skillfully.

From the first call to the final interaction the service was excellent, punctual, polite and clearly experienced. Frank knows exactly what he is talking about and led the process with confidence. All three gentlemen worked efficiently and carefully, treating our home and the sofa with respect.
