Just buy a DJI product, don't waste your money on this company

This gymbal is garbage. Will maybe gor for an hr of filming. It often glitches and freaks out causing your phone to just be thrown out of the flimsy, poorly designed phone clamps. Their app is pure garbage. For the price of their cheapest option you can get close to a top of the line DJI gymbal. When I had issues, toot smove weeks to respond to my simple questions. Their answers made me want to smash this thing. I have a DJI drone so I know when imI need answers about it, DJI takes my call and helps me figure it out quickly and professionally. Smove will not accept a call. Anyone that hides behind emails and website chats for customer support knows they put out pure trash. Don't waste your money on this companys junk. Buy a DJI. Thank me later.

3 week delivery

2-3 day delivery? Its been 3 weeks. Needed the item to shoot a Wedding 2 weeks ago. This company has gone downhill. There are so many other products that are better.

No good outside of the USA - despite being able to use the international checkout option.

I was excited to purchase a Smove and went through the online checkout with my Australian address. I was charged priority shipping - 3-5 days. I did not recieve the product after 2 weeks so I contacted the company to see what was happening. They said it was slow due to covid, I understood and asked to have the priority shipping refunded. They agreed.
However, the next email I recieved requested a USA address to ship to as they cannot ship to Australia (why have it at check-out then?)
Anyways I was promised a refund which has not arrived and the email responses have stopped. I'm still waiting. Order #113028

UPDATE - I recieved my refund. Now I have been contacted (6 months later) to change my review as a one star review "really hurts us" . So yes, I did eventually recieve my refund, however if you live outside of the USA they don't ship to you despite taking your money.

In Summary, I really wanted this product - it looks great - I didn’t want a refund – I wanted the product – as was prepared to wait for it.

The failure to deliver wasnt due to covid, nor slow shipping – they could not fulfill the order because I lived outside of the US.
Advertising a product and it's availability in your country – when it is not available in your country - is scammy.

2nd device I had to throw away because…

2nd device I had to throw away because the charging usb clip snapped and fell inside the device. The first time, I emailed support and they sent me a replacement, which I just threw out. I emailed support twice now with no response back. Very disappointed.

I recieved my smove two weeks ago and it will not hold a charge. I have tried to contact the company several times to no avail. I was really excited to get this product. but the company has fallen short on their customer service when it comes to me.

Great customer service, highly recommend

When I received my Smove Pro, I quickly knew that something was wrong, especially with the box bring messed up. My Pro was out of calibration and had a broken joystick. I contacted Smove and they got me a new one sent out. Talk about great customer service 😁

never received my product. i ordered directly from smove. their solution was for me to work with paypal. terrible customer service! snagged my $200 and now its my problem to figure out where ups actually delivered the package i guess. buyers beware!!!

Amazing Product, Service and Experience

Smove is one of the greatest products I have owned in my photography/cinematography career. For the price, you get a superior quality product to many other brands. (I've tried many) They are also always there for their customers. I had an issue with my gimbal long after the warranty and they were so quick to respond and still offer assistance. They are a reputable company and offer a wide range of products. I highly recommend them for your gimbal needs and you will not be disappointed. I am so glad I found this company not long after they started and have been a long time customer and will continue to choose them for any needs I need in the future.

Great product and service

Great product. I have the first version which has stood the test of time. Very high quality build, highly recommend.

Recently saw the new one and decided to give that a try for the added functions and new features. I also got the accessories, using it for my live streams. The results speak for themselves.

Oh and the customer support is stellar, always responsive and very helpful. That's a huge plus! Highly recommended!

Sam, has been amazing at helping me secure my SMOVE. My original order was not going to get to me in time for me to take my son to college. Sam listened to my concerns and made my business feel valued. I would highly recommend this device if you are doing a great deal of digital media. Thanks again Sam!!! great customer service

Hi, I bought Smove a few months ago and I was very excited to use it. I am a realtor and i shoot bunch of videos, suddenly I had trouble using it and apparently the "engine" didn't work well anymore. I have sent it back and the company fixed it for me. I am very happy to be able to shoot again. It's a lot of fun! thanks a lot for your help. Great customer service

I use my galaxy s20 ultra AND with a GoPro adapter, I use my Hero 7 Black!!!

Happy with my smove

Got my device and have had it over a year now with no issues. I got help from support initially which was responsive. When I updated my phone I contacted support again. The way they handle care is professional. Took the time on my case to guide me through setup to get me up and running again. I'm happy with the product and support, recommend it.

Buyer beware - Smove mobile gimbal

My device started to have issues after about a month of use, after a few more weeks the device became unusable. After a few attempts to fix it or suffer through I contacted support. After many emails I was told I could send it back for repairs - which I would need to pay for and would take "a long time" since it apparently could need to go to several countries? (*see note below re: Covid) - or I could buy the new model (with a bit of a discount)
No replacement was offered. After several more emails and continued attempts to get me to buy a new model, I was finally offered a refund of 50%
I’m not sure how they came to that amount as a fair refund for a broken, unusable device but I've taken it, relieved to at least get something back, but overall I am quite unhappy with the whole experience.
This is an expensive product that I barely got to use and have now lost money on. For a product that seems to have defective issues quite frequently, the way they handle these issues does not seem up to par at all.
I wish I would have seen the red flags before buying.

Update: A quick response from Smove after posting my review.
As they requested, I am happy to point out that yes after our initial contact, Covid has occurred. I left my enquiry into the fault for some months because of this.
Yes Covid has caused delays in shipping and this is out of the companies control, but that was not the issue, it was the fact that the process for repairs could apparently require the device being sent around to several locations, which would cause the significant delay. Such a difficult repair process is not my responsibility.
If I had damaged the device myself I would have accepted the repairs process, but since it had become faulty on its own and given the duration to have it repaired (covid or not), an offer to send out a replacement or full refund should be their policy, not repeated attempts to have a customer buy a new product.
Why would I do that given the current situation I found myself in?
Also as requested, I am happy to advise I am in Australia. But, if support for someone in Australia (or other countries) is too difficult, lengthy and potentially expensive for the customer, then perhaps the company should not ship to those countries to begin with. Or issue a warning on their website advising people outside of the US that further support for the device would be extremely difficult, then we would know to look elsewhere.
