Disgraceful

Terrible, deceitful company. I purchased a device which was faulty, so I went to the Smok website to claim warranty. Unsurprisingly, the website never truly took you to the warranty page, and when I eventually found it, the website was purposefully designed so that the warranty claim could not be completed. What followed was 4 months of emails between myself and the company, whereby they demanded video evidence. On receiving this, they cut all contact, showing their warranty guarantee for what it is: a criminal scam. Customer Service person Alice Zhu was handling my claim, and was an utter disgrace from day one. I would highly advise avoiding this Chinese scam artist company at all costs.

Never shipped my order

Never shipped my order. All they did was create a label to make it look like it was "shipped" but they never actually put it in the mail stream. Zero response to my requests for more information. Had to file a claim with the payment company. Avoid buying here.

Do yourself a favour. AVOID SMOK!!

Bought a SMOK RPM Lite whose plug broke shortly after purchase. They said it was not their problem, wouldn't replace the easily replaceable plug and said I'd have to buy a new unit.

Instead, I purchased a SMOK nord 4 that came with 2 tanks. BOTH LEAKED. Again "Not their fault." (???)

Picked up a new, but discontinued SMOK Alien. The NEW tank drips. Replaced all the rubbers/rings and it still drips juice.

The sales person at the vape shop later told me that "SMOK is notorious for leaking".

After some debate, SMOK decided to send me a $30 coupon and one for shipping. Dozens of attempts to place the order failed. (I was using my Galaxy S20) When I FINALLY used my laptop the order went through. Perhaps their site is incompatible with Galaxy S20, Android or Mobile in General. (I suggest if you have to deal with customer support or with purchases, use a REGULAR computer or Laptop. NOT MOBILE!)

My advice? DO NOT EVER purchase ANYTHING that comes under the SMOK brand until they fix the leaking issue. Seems like all vapes might leak, but not this much. (Update: It's been over 9 months and SMOK still has not sent me my order.)

Horrific

I have never in my life received such bad customer care. I bought an item which was faulty and then they gave me another item which was also faulty. Both had a button that couldn’t be pressed without falling inside. They decided this wasn’t their problem anymore and refused to do anything even though both times were their fault. No compensation or anything and they completely cut contact with me after I brought up consumer rights. They are a joke take your business literally anywhere else.

Customer service is laughable

Customer service is laughable, sent me two faulty items and wouldn’t send a third because of their policy, didn’t care that it was their fault not mine because the button wasn’t attached. Buy from literally any other company they are a joke. Apparently consumer rights don’t apply to them.

SMOK ROCKS

I have been a Smok user for several years. I had been using the Nord. I decided because of the danger the switch design has for accidental pocket engagement to try another smok product. After researching puff to activate I decided to try the Novo 4. I am so pleased with this design. Very easy to use, has just the right amount of settings and produces a very nice cloud. But most important no more burnt legs from the switch design.

Would leave a zero star if there was…

Would leave a zero star if there was one. Smok stopped working after 3 months. Been over 4 months now and still no replacement despite them saying they would send one twice. Cheaply made, overpriced and customer service give false promises.

Totally unreliable products

Have had three Smok ecigs in a row fail. First two just refused to charge and the third one started getting burning hot when on charge. When I emailed they shrugged me off. Stay away from this company's products

Company is a joke

Company is a joke! Overpaid for a defective product from the start. Emailed their support and their warranty department 3 times in last 3 weeks, no reply. Called their joke of a phone number where you wait on hold during business hours forever till u hang up and call after hours and left 2 messages, still no response. This isn't a company its a scam!

Provided everything but becasue the receipt is hand written they have said it isn't acceptable as it could be written by anyone, I've given them the shop email and contact number but they are declining to contact them. Stopped replying. The device is still under warranty as its only 4 months old. Stay well away as their customer service appears to be none existent.

Trash

SMOK knows how to make money. They build a solid looking device and design it to break quickly so you have to buy a new one. I’ve had 3 of their devices - the novo 2 I purchased twice, and both times it broke within 4 months; and I had a sub ohm device I’m forgetting the name of which broke fairly quickly as well. I’ve also had two of their tanks - the baby beast and another; the tanks won’t break on you but the coils go out in a day or two while the uwell coils I now use last 6 weeks.

When your SMOK product breaks you might find that it’s under warranty. Ok, no problem, just file a claim with them online. You have to submit proof of purchase and a video of the unit itself and what’s not working about it.

When they approve your claim, you’d think you could just send in your return and they would send you a new one, but no sir. They want you to send it to the US headquarters first for further review and then they’ll send you a new one in 1 to 2 weeks after receiving your old broken piece of crap.

So they make returns as difficult as possible, and they design their products to look good, but fail within a few months. It’s all about turnover people. As long as they spend a decent amount on a good marketing plan, and pay a bunch of online vape sites to give them good reviews, no one will notice their products are actually garbage.

SMOK isn’t an American company. Don’t support them, they just want to scan you. Support someone local :)

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I emailed for a replacement vape on 6th feb 2021 (now 16th March) as my current one had broken within warranty.

Customer service response only came after a week wait and a second message from me.

Weeks of back and forth and I was told to email the EU warranty centre to get a tracking number.

Received no number just an email to say it would be with me in 1-2 days. A week later no sign of anything.

This is the second vape I have brought from Smok as my first had a charging fault outside of warranty.

Their warranty is a marketing technique they don’t care about their customers or their product once it leaves the shelf.

Literally buy anything else.

They have the worst customer service

They have the worst customer service. They don't acknowledge your manufacturing warranty. They give you the run around until you mention legal action. I had the vape pen 2 kit and that vape kept leaking and leaked into the battery to where the juice got so hot it burnt my lips and the tank shattered. There so called "authentication app" they want you to use to verify it's an authentic smok product. That doesn't work. I sent them picture of every corner of that box that showed it was authentic. Once they told me they would send me a replacement and asked where to ship it. And they stopped answering me of when I would I receive it? And if it was going to be the whole kit and it has been a week and no response. Thankfully the vape shop I got it at they are really awesome and nice that they are going to take care of it for me since the people at smok don't do their damn job. It's not shocking since it's a Chinese based company. I would not recommend getting any of their products cause if they malfunction and you bought an expensive mod youre f'd.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Had an issue with a replacement being sent to me and I quote they replied with “No idea about this situation” when my replacement was lost in transit. Have been waiting for this replacement for at least 50 days. Had no choice in what replacement I got for my faulty device, and company replies were slow and unhelpful.
Products are faulty with worse customer service.
