My recent encounter with Smokehead whisky left me underwhelmed, as it failed to meet my expectations. The pronounced peaty and smoky notes dominated the tasting experience, drowning out any potential subtleties I typically savor in a good whisky.

What caught my attention beyond the overpowering flavour was the branding, prominently featuring the Smokehead skull on the label. This bold imagery gave the impression that the whisky is geared towards a younger demographic.

As someone who appreciates the craftsmanship and artistry of whisky, I found Smokehead lacking in the taste I seek. While I understand that peat can be a defining characteristic, in this case, it was too overwhelming. Additionally, the absence of age disclosure adds another layer of uncertainty, leaving the maturation process unknown for those who value such details in their whisky selection.
I will not be buying again.

Have ordered a couple of times now. Great service and of course even better whisky. Delivery was fast.

Had the delight of sampling this malt by a xmas present from usa.it came with 30 samples of malts around yhe world. I had sampled only 7 so far but this one really stood out.rich texture wonderful aroma and a great thunderous taste.so i bought a bottle and knowing the taste i am keeping the bottle for a weekend treat only

My order still hasn't arrived. Emailed the company and still no reply! No order, no money back, no communication!

This would of been lower as ordered on 08/12/23, payment taken on 11/12/23. Items took too long to arrive! But at least they did come before Christmas Day.

It was quick and easy. It was packaged really well.

I ordered the new unfiltered Smokehead it arrived in a couple of days which was excellent.
As for the whisky wow amazing flavour I would recommend to anyone who loves a smoky whisky.

This is just one of the best whisks in the world. This even if you were to wait a fortnight it would be worth it lol. Seriously This company just gets on with it. Good communication and prompt delivery.
