Smashburger Reviews 

I think smashburgers are a fine product. However, the company cannot hire decent people...I've been to multiple stores in colorado and arizona and the experience is always the same...POOR...Shortstaffed, untrained counter people that can't work the overly complicated register, no knowledge of the menu, super long wait times to get food. The operations are a disaster. I only eat there is I am driving by and really, really hungry.

I started going to Smashburger about a year ago. The food was pricey, but I really enjoyed the haystack onions. Within a month, they had discontinued the haystack onions for regular onion rings. They were still better than other fast food onion rings, but not as good as the haystack onions. Within the past two weeks, they discontinued the onion rings. My first visit after that, the said they were out of onion rings, so I tried the fries which were simply average. The second time after I visited, they admitted they no longer had onion rings on the menu. I left without ordering.

Ordered a burger and it was delicious I would highly recommend that you order you won’t be disappointed

Iv spent 10.99 on a smash burger meal early morning after work, because i was hungry, thought il get big meal with big bucks but unfortunately meals are over priced, same meal should have been 3.99 max, no flavour, burger fell apart as soon as i started to eat. 1 star out of 5. Didnt like the taste, didn't like the burger, the only reason people goto them is that they are open till late. Waste of money. 10.99 meal portion should have been bigger then 3.99 meal but unfortunately it was same as 3.99 meal size. Will not try them again for sure, rather have jam and toast then spending 10.99, overall BIG TIME DISAPPOINTED.

This isn’t the first time this has happened at this store 5210 Kingshighway Brooklyn NY. You walk in it’s not busy. You have the cook slicing bacon another cook eating lunch I assume another worker putting away cups and straws the greeter on the side on her phone and no one at the register. I stand there waiting for someone to at the very least acknowledge my presence. But after about 5 minutes of standing there the greeter finally looks up from there phone. All the while each of the other employees have seen me but said nothing. Again this is not the first time but I assure it will be my last. I want to go where at least they pretend to appreciate your business.

Brisket Single bc was horrible tasting. sour taste. For the expensive price of the fries I would have thought they would have a least filled the container to near the top but only 3/4 full. Very disappointed. I went 7.18.24 at 11:47am not crowded. on one other customer picking up food. Someone told me this was a great place to go to for lunch once a week. I guess they were wrong.

I went to this restaurant for the first time the other day and their computers weren't working. I spoke to the lady at the register and she told me that they would still take my order and if the system wasn't back up and running by the time I was finished with my meal, it would be on the house. Well, I finished my meal and they still weren't working so I got a free meal out of it and most importantly... the food was so good! Loved the smash burger and the smash fries. Great place and very friendly staff near where I live!

I think they need to monitor and discard the fries that are stale instead of serving them to their customers. Also, it would help to have cashiers who are genuinely service minded and courteous.

Once in awhile one craves a hamburger, even in the carbohydrate loaded Italy. Smashburger has one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. Fresh. Perfectly cooked, lots of options. The helpful servers are friendly. Thank you Smashburger!!!

I went to Smashburger in Oak Lawn, Illinois and paid about $30 for a single smash burger with bacon, a double smash burger with bacon, and 2 small fries. When I got home, the burgers were DROWNING in smash sauce. We could only eat the fries. I took pics of the burgers and called the restaurant. No one answered the phone. I do not live near the restaurant, so returning the same night was not an option. What was worse was when I contacted the restaurant and spoke to the "on duty manager" after the person who originally answered hung up on me the 1st time. The "on duty manager" initially refused to give me the store manager's or district manager's name. She refused to do anything about the burgers. Even worse than that was the fact that I called the corporate office TWICE and could not get a live person. They had a voice recording that tells you to leave a message. I did TWICE and no one ever contacted me to follow up. I am DONE with Smashburger. There are way too many other burger places ( not McDonalds or Burger King) to give my business to.

Awful just awful.

We waited nearly an hour for a simple order. the food was average, but we ended up very sick, we presume with food poisioning.

I was mad from the door when I placed my order and I went to pay I only had a $100.bill. They explained to me that they couldn't take a $100 bill.They couldn't take anything over a twenty. Baffled being a business owner myself i was concerned about how you can let $40. Walk out of your establishment, claiming it's store policy. I was furious but I went to my car & ordered on line with my card. My prime rib burger was
delicious, i did pay extra for onion rings i didn't see them. My sister got a haberna mango chicken she was dissatisfied. Please explain to me why cash doesn't work anymore.

My husband and I ate at SmashBurger 3 - 4 times a month. For health reasons, we missed almost the past 2 months. And boy…did it change. Went today to find shrinkflation has bit. My classic burger was over $7. The bun is different and not as good. Worst of all…they discontinued Haystack onion straws and replaced with same-old rings. The interior is sterile beyond imagination. Not one stinker napkin holder on tables let alone salt, etc. The reason for no more Haystacks was labor. Really? Sounds more like a management issue. Regardless, there is not much that makes SmashBurger stand out anymore. Sad day. They are going downhill and making bad decisions. Bye bye SmashBurger. You are no longer a unique player in the burger field.

I spent 45 minutes for my order and it was only a few burgers. I recommend only going here if you want to wait for close to an hour. The food was also cold. In the past they have been good. But i’m not risking it again

Ordered a burger from them off uber eats as they had a deal on and when I got it, the meat was off!! It smelt so bad and after one bite I want to be sick. How can someone be ok with selling off meat and no wonder why they had a deal on

We have been using this restaurant for few years and we never been let down. burger is always delicious and the food temperature is perfect. restaurant was busy but our food arrived in less than 15 minutes. Thank you for a great service :)

My friend and I make a ritual of stopping here simply for the burgers. On this day the manager was polite BUT his staff was so disrespectful and rude from the kitchen. They were speaking loud enough to hear them from the seating area cussing and carrying on - made both burgers wrongly, and sucked their teeth & rolled their eyes and stated no it’s not wrong! Store 1712. Missing items on the standard burger and clearly didn’t care.
