Not So Smart Taxi Sweden!

Ripped off for the price - we asked the official taxi “concierge” so did not question the choice of taxi which was diverted round to the outside of the official 5 lanes. Little did we know that this was them entitled to rip us off with impunity - he even had the cheek to show the screen with the option to add a tip … SEK 1840 for the 15 minute ride to Sigtuna - the way back via Uber was SEK 419 by contrast.

Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could. My taxi in the morning has never been on time. They never apologise and they themselves end up having to order me an uber because they don’t sort out my taxi booking in time even though I give them multiple days notice for when I need picking up. They put the booking as some random driver on the app so it doesn’t look like they’ve outsourced to uber. I will be so glad when my time at uni is up and I never have to use them again! (They are the chosen taxi company for student finance England!!! Good job guys!!!)

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. If I could give 0 stars and still leave a review I would.

I booked via booking.com (maybe rethink using that site too if they are willing to let awful cab companies like this on their site). The driver NEVER SHOWED UP. And then when we were finally able to get in contact with them, we were told another driver would be sent out. They another text came through saying that driver was cancelled due to 'not being able to make the trip' and then ANOTHER driver was booked.... 30 minutes later still nothing so the whole thing got cancelled.

I don't tend to leave bad reviews for anything but I am honestly SO disappointed and angry. I am now trying to sort a refund through booking.com which is proving incredibly difficult.

Save yourself time & money and DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Avoid This Taxi Company at All Costs – Absolutely Disgraceful Service

If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked a taxi and minutes before my scheduled pickup, they casually told me the driver would be 20 minutes late — no apology, no explanation. I told them I was going to miss my train, and they couldn’t care less. The attitude from their call center was shockingly rude and indifferent. Then, to top it all off, they HUNG UP on me mid-conversation.

This is not just bad service — it’s utter incompetence and disrespect for paying customers. I was left stranded, stressed, and had to pay a £85 taxi back to London at 1am due to missed train.

Very dissapointing

Very dissapointing. The fact that booking.com works with them is a Wonder for me. They are very unprofessional, they don’t answer the phone and they don’t fulfill their orders.

They are stealer, taking cancellations fees from rider in order to pay driver Cz of the wait. They don’t pay the driver these crooks dodge in their packet. A disgusting company to work for with no ethics or morals for both drivers and riders. ! We should make TFL to revoke there licence

Do not book SMARTZI !!

I pre booked an airport drop off and the company has LIED to me all regarding the status of my driver. My pick up was scheduled for 1pm

1. At 13.05 I notice the driver is not here, I called Smartzi and after being on hold for over 15 mins I was told that the original driver couldn’t come because of knee pain & that another driver will come in 10 mins. I asked the customer service for his number and I was given a wrong number. At this time it was 1.18pm

2. I call Smartzi back immediately, another operator picks up the phone , she cannot find the drivers number, then she puts me on hold and says he (the driver) is having network problems, after that at 1.28 pm she tells me the driver has a flat tire and cannot come.

I find it absolutely ridiculous for the company to keep lying to their customers as such, if your driver has no intentions of coming why not just tell your clients as such ?? Especially since this is an airport drop off and timing is of essence. You have kept your customer waiting for 30 mins !!! Only to tell them you have no solution to be provided ? This is not the first time; in fact this trip was meant to a chance for Smartzi to make up for a previous error on their end with my booking again. I do not recommend them- they are unreliable and do not provide true information

Great ride to LHR

Booked car for early morning ride to LHR from central London. Driver on time, great and comfortable van, acted on my music requests, and generally great service. Would use again!

Unreliable

Unreliable. Cancelled a 6am transfer to the airport minutes before they were due to pick us up. Literally said, 'we are not coming so you should find an alternative'. They are quite willing to screw you over at the very last minute.

DO NOT USE Smartzi

DO NOT USE Smartzi. Smartzi stranded our family of 4 at Heathrow and wouldn’t send us another taxi, I begged for another taxi, with our flight delayed 4-4.5 hours, we also sat on tarmac for 30-40 minutes, then UK customs took our 2 teenagers aside without telling us to screen for trafficking, so we were in customs for over an hour. As long as I had Wi-Fi and cell data working I was constantly messaging Smartzi. I called Smartzi also. We could not get a luggage terminal pick up assignment for at least 1.5 hours after getting off of the plane so how can we get our taxi even if we are only delayed with our checked luggage alone? I could not get hooked up to Wi-Fi on my phone while moving through customs trying to message Smartzi and helping my 2 kids and spouse through the self service customs, so the ONE message age the driver sent me WHEN we were still sitting on the tarmac to me, went unanswered because I do not have Wi-Fi on the plane, And the Smartzi driver left. Why would the taxi driver leave when they can see we do not even have a baggage pick up terminal assignment? Why would the taxi driver abandon us only after one message? And yes, they took our money. My international cell data plan was not working. BOOK A TAXI WHEN YOU GET TO THE AIRPORT, NOT IN ADVANCE, THERE ARE taxi service booths at the information counters there. There are dozens of drivers there who will call for you or pickup a taxi outside for the same or similar price. Our actual driver got a $60 tip. Smartzi taxi left and would NOT a send another. We were stranded until an employee at the airport the information booth at the airport ordered us one for the same price as Booking,com charged.

Literally rang me as I landed at Heathrow they would have to cancel my booking as they didn,t have a driver. This was after booking 4 weeks in advance. Terrible company, terrible customer service... DO NOT USE !!!!

No show made me almost moss my flight!

I booked an airport transfer on a Sunday afternoon. Five minutes after the agreed pickup time I gave the driver a call to find out about his estimated arrival. He told me he had a puncture and is unable to come, maybe the company is looking into alternative. I called the company and they confirmed they are not looking into alternative. Half an hour later they called me and told me they will refund and I should take alternative transport. Seriously this is not good enough. I should have been called immediately when the puncture happened and Smartzi should have helped with arranging alternative transport - I almost missed my flight because of this. Lousy customer service, stay away unless you want to miss your flight!
