Great simple product, light sensor is hit and miss

Simple, recyclable packaging with exactly what was purchased. Delivered on time and with ease. Easy to setup via the app and the product itself. My only issues are no charging cable and the light reader is a hit and miss sometimes. I have a glow light which sometimes doesnt pick up despite moving the sensor at different angles. Great app layout with some information to improve areas but with this great sunny weather , glowlight and the sensor saying its too dark i can only give this a 4 star.

Great service

Sad to see such a negative review after our experience. We (wife and me) had difficulty pairing the sensor too. We got a reply the same day though. When we still had difficulty (my fault not theirs) I even got a call from the founder Ben (great guy). He took me through the process and made it super clear. He told me they're updating their process to make it even easier in future.

They are a relatively new company and super passionate about what they've built.

I was really impressed with the service we received and I'm excited for our monsterra to last a lot longer now.

Disappointed

This is an excellent idea and I bought three for my partners birthday.

We have spent an entire day trying to get them working. Support is non existent with no replies or acknowledgment via email. One device has eventually paired correctly, but the other two are not connecting at all and simply come up with an error saying contact support…… really helpful.

At the moment I can only recommend that people stay away from this product as it clearly doesn’t work.

Hi CP, thank you for leaving a review - and we're genuinely sorry the setup experience was so frustrating, especially as a birthday gift.

We did want to address the support point with full transparency: we replied to your email within 3.5 hours of receiving it, late on a Sunday afternoon. We're a small team and respond personally to each support ticket (we don't use AI to automatically reply). This means we can't always respond instantly, but we do always reply as quickly as we can.

That said, it's genuinely helpful to hear that not receiving an immediate acknowledgement added to the frustration. As a result of this, we have put an automated response in place so that anyone raising a support ticket for the first time will get an instant confirmation that we've received it and are on the case.

The issue you raised was resolved in <36 hours. We've reached out a couple of times since to confirm everything is still working well, though we haven't heard back from you on those.

We're really glad you love the idea, and we hope the sensors have been doing their thing since. If there's anything still outstanding, please do drop us a line - we're always here.
